Two of Jenn Tran's Former Dates Will Appear On Bachelor In Paradise Season 10

Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise is officially in the works, and contestants of both recent The Bachelor and The Bachelorette seasons will make their way to Mexico to find love in the sand.

ABC announced in July 2024 that the show will make its grand return this year. Since then, host Jesse Palmer teased fans that there would be exciting changes coming to the show after a bleak Season 9 that saw every couple split. What exactly are those changes? On the Season 29 After the Final Rose special, Jesse announced that contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette would also be looking for love.

As viewers speculate on how this will play out, Jesse also officially announced two male contestants—both from Jenn Tran’s Season 12 of The Bachelorette—who will be soaking up the sun and searching for love again in the new season.

Bachelor In Paradise Season 10 Will Welcome The Bachelorette’s Jonathan Johnson To The Beach

Bachelor in Paradise will begin filming this summer, which means fans have something to look forward to towards the end of the year. As the season is nearing development, a few of the contestants that will make their way to Mexico have been teased.

One of those additions to Season 10 of BiP will be Jonathan Johnson. As fans will recall, Jonathan, 28, came in third on Jenn Tran’s Season 21 of The Bachelorette. After Jenn was heartbroken by Devin Strader, there were rumors that Jenn and Jonathan rekindled a romance after he attended a few of her Dancing With the Stars performances. However, she’s since begun a relationship with her partner, Sasha Farber.

Jonathan hails from Kansas City, Missouri and works as a creative director.

At Jenn’s Men Tell Special, host Jesse Palmer shocked Jonathan by inviting him to the beach for Season 10 of BiP.

“You are a great guy and you deserve to find love. Assuming you’re still single…there’s a certain beach that’s going to be opening next summer. So I would hereby like to officially extend to you the very first invite to the beach. What do you say?” Jesse asked him, with Jonathan gladly accepting.

Bachelor In Paradise’s Bartender Wells Adams Has Very Mixed Feelings About His Role On The Show And So Do The Fans

Wells Adams has been the bartender on Bachelor In Paradise for a while, but fans might not love him all that much… and they have some thoughts.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Jonathan revealed that he had no idea he was going to be asked to join Bachelor in Paradise.

“I honestly was shook [when they announced it tonight]. I had no expectation. Nobody warned me. I wish they would have so I didn’t just, like, freak out,” he said. Jonathan added that he didn’t know if he could see himself on reality television ever again, but he couldn’t miss an opportunity.

“So, you’re sitting there with that mindset, and then somebody has this opportunity where there’s incredible women for you to meet. You’re like, ‘Well s***, OK. I guess I gotta say yes, I’ll be there.'”

Season 21’s The Bachelorette Contestant Hakeem Moulton Also Joins Jonathan On BiP Season 10

Hakeem Moulton, 30, will also be making a splash on Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. Hakeem did not make it as far as Jonathan in Jenn’s season. He was eliminated in Week 3, so fans didn’t get to see a lot of him. However, he quickly became a fan-favorite thanks to his funny and fun personality.

Jesse also announced that Hakeem would appear in the new season on the Men Tell All special. When speaking to Us Weekly, he also expressed how shocked he was that the Bachelor franchise wanted to see him back on television.

“I was at a loss for words. You know, [I’m] so thankful. I just want to express my gratitude to everybody who allowed me to be a part of that. But honestly, what I learned from this process [on The Bachelorette] is, you know, just show your emotions,” Hakeem said.

Hakeem hails from Schaumburg, Illinois, and works as a medical device salesman.

In his interview with Us Weekly, Hakeem also shared that he was going to “take it as serious as possible.” Hopefully, Hakeem is one of the many contestants that make it out of Mexico engaged! In fact, during his conversation with the outlet, he threw a name out as a potential match he hopes also makes it to the beach.

“Her name was Olivia Lewis. Last year, she was gorgeous, and I think she didn’t get the proper love that she deserved. I think I have all that love to give to her, and she’s gorgeous, and she has an expressive personality just like me. So, I think I would mesh very well with her.”

“[Olivia], if you hear this, if you see this, slide in my DMs before I do,” he joked.

Bachelor In Paradise Season 10 Has A Twist

During Grant Ellis’ Season 29 finale (he and Juliana Pasquarosa are still going strong), Jesse announced more details about the upcoming Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. It was a twist no one saw coming.

“So this is really happening. For the first time ever, Golden men and women will be hitting the beaches of Paradise alongside all of your Bachelor and Bachelorette favorites of seasons past.”

He continued, “So how is this whole thing going to work? You’re going to have to tune in to find out when an all-new Bachelor in Paradise premieres this summer.”

After he made the announcement, two Golden fan-favorites — Gary Levingston, 66, from The Golden Bacherlorette and Leslie Fhima,65, of The Golden Bachelor, appeared and shared that they would also be in Mexico.

During Grant’s After the Final Rose special, Leslie, who was the runner-up in Gerry Turner’s season, shared, “I am most excited to continue my journey — I think this is my forte: the beach and my friends.”

As for Gary, who did not make it far on Joan Vassos’ season, he shared that he was excited to do “a lot of dancing in the sand,” and, of course, find love.

Leslie resides in Golden Valley, Minnesota and works as a fitness instructor. Gary resides in Palm Desert, California and is a retired finance executive.

With Jesse giving little details on how this twist will work, fans are unsure how those in their 60s and 70s will mesh with contestants in their 20s and 30s. Despite this, viewers are looking forward to a fun-filled season after a long-haitus.

Additionally, Zoe McGrady, who came in third on Grant’s season, will also be heading to the beach and giving love a second try. Who knows, maybe she will match up with either Jonathan or Hakeem? She also expressed hope that being at a beautiful location will give her more luck in the relationship department.

“I was excited for the mansion as a Pisces, I think I’m more excited for the beach. So hope that I can find my love there,” Zoe said.
