Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, is a Nigerian disc jockey who has shared her response to a suitor who isn’t financially buoyant.
Taking to her Snapchat, Cuppy shared the relationship proposal she received from a man who made it known that he isn’t financially buoyant. The man stated that despite being not financially stable, he would love to be Cuppy’s boyfriend and promised to treat her like a queen. He admonished her to think about it and affirmed his love for her.
“I’m not financially stable, but I’d love to get your boyfriend and treat you like the sweet and wonderful Queen you are. Please think about it. I love you”.
Responding to him, Cuppy appreciated him as she noted that thoughts count; unfortunately, so do bills.
“Awww, the thought definitely counts, but unfortunately, so do bills”.
On Valentine’s Day, Cuppy shared a photo of herself in a black robe as she wished herself a happy Valentine. The daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola said she was manifesting that this would be her last Valentine’s unmarried.
Recall that in November, 2022, Cuppy got engaged to British boxer, Ryan Taylor, just a month after knowing each other. Unfortunately, their relationship was short-lived, as in 2023, they parted ways over undisclosed reasons.
Since her failed engagement to the British boxer, Cuppy has been on a hunt for a man, especially after hitting the 3rd floor.
In November, 2023. While lamenting over her single status, Cuppy revealed how her single status had led her to write ‘Jesus’ in her emergency contact, whenever she was filling out forms. In another post, she had questioned God after receiving a proposal email from an admirer.
Taking her hunt for a spouse to the extreme, she had contemplated switching her taste in men, as she pondered on if she should marry an Indian man.
Last year, she had made a deep prayer to God. She prayed that she may be deep in God and that her husband has to seek him first before he finds her.
To top it off, Cuppy took her hunt for a husband to the professional social media platform LinkedIn. The philanthropist via her LinkedIn page, shared a crying face of herself as she revealed that she was looking for a finance man who is 6 foot with brown eyes.
