The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Reunion Part 2 Recap

Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finally arrived to wrap up loose storylines, open arguments, and hopefully resolve any unresolved issues among friends before the third and final act. Andy Cohen continued as the host as he tried to set the record straight for many storylines to end Season 14 on a high note.

While Part 1 touched base on the disagreements between Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards, along with some heated moments with Garcelle Beauvais, Part 2 shines on Dorit as she goes head-to-head with Sutton Stracke (with a little bit of Kyle sprinkled throughout). Friends of the season, Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly, also make their obligatory appearance before Andy shuts things down before a third and final act for Season 14.

Here’s What Went Down At The Season 14 Reunion: Part Two

Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion kicked off with host Andy Cohen talking about Kyle Richards’ private life. Now separated from her husband, Mauricio Umansky, Andy and Garcelle Beauvais spoke about Kyle’s reluctance to talk about her friend (and alleged girlfriend), Morgan Wade, on camera.

Kyle Richards Vs. Dorit Kemsley And Andy Cohen

Garcelle told the group that Kyle shared private things about her relationship with Morgan off-camera, but it didn’t sit right with her since Kyle wasn’t willing to share the same things while filming. She didn’t want to talk about Morgan and was bothered that so many people speculated on their relationship. And in a rare moment, Andy roasted Kyle for she “can’t have your cake and eat it too.”

“I do just want to point out, putting out a music video that is like the two of you as lovers, it contributed so mightily to a conversation that was already a runaway train, and that was totally in her hands, I have to say,” Andy told Kyle. “It’s like, at some point, you can’t have your cake and eat it too.”

During this time, Kyle and Dorit’s friendship was called into question, since Dorit felt that her friendship with Kyle dwindled once Morgan came into the picture.

• Kyle wants more accountability from Dorit, and Dorit wants more vulnerability and honesty from Kyle.

Putting Morgan aside, Dorit brought up the situation where Kyle was texting her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley. A poll was taken around the room, and the women agreed that Kyle talking to PK during their separation was not a good move as a friend. Kyle is firm that her intentions in texting PK were genuine and weren’t to hurt Dorit.

In the end, both women are open to resolving their issues and working on their friendship, especially after Kyle apologized to Dorit for messaging PK.

Bring Out The Friends!

After a brief break, Andy invited the friends of the season, Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton. As always, Kathy is a welcome cast member on the reunion floor. Her one-liners and reactions are some of the best moments of every season. On the other hand, this was Jennifer’s first season on reality TV. When asked how her first season on RHOBH was, Jennifer didn’t hold back about the “glam” and the “screaming.”

Andy asked Kathy about their sister Kim Richards (who has had recent struggles with sobriety, according to US Weekly), and if she was doing any better. Kim allegedly moved out of Los Angeles and to Florida. “[Kim’s] spending time [in Florida]. You know, I think she’s doing better,” the eldest sister shared.

Sutton Stracke Vs. Dorit Kemsley And Bozoma “Boz” Saint John

Dorit went head-to-head with Sutton Stracke all season. Dorit felt that Sutton was a “mean girl,” while Bozoma “Boz” Saint John felt that Sutton “weaponized” Dorit’s affliction from her separation. As usual, Sutton defended herself and assured the cast she was a “girls girl.” Garcelle defended Sutton, but oddly enough, her best friend Jennifer Tilly stayed mum.

Dorit didn’t let up. She mentioned multiple instances where Sutton was dismissive and rude, like the time Dorit was sharing a deeply personal story about her son’s reaction to her and PK’s separation. And unlike the season, Sutton wasn’t as outspoken this reunion. This was odd considering how much drama she had with the group. Because of Sutton’s difference in behavior, Dorit verbally dragged her to filth.

“The person that was in this season, who was so vicious, you know with that really beady stare, that you want to really go low. Where is she? She didn’t come today?” Dorit asked of Sutton.

What’s Still To Come For Part 3?

The third part of any Real Housewives reunion is typically the best. Most of the bigger storylines are divulged, and the outcome of many friendships is shown. More importantly, the third part of reunions are rather telling of the state of the group. As viewers, it’s easy to see who will be back next season and who needs a break.

In a trailer for what’s to come:

• Kathy Hilton shared that she told her daughters that she was a lesbian to be in solidarity with Kyle Richards, even though Kyle has never come out as anything other than straight.
• Bozoma “Boz” Saint John and Sutton Stracke are seen arguing, presumably over Sutton’s behavior towards Dorit Kemsley.
• Andy asks Kyle if she had any indication that her estranged husband was seeing other women.
• Surprisingly, as Andy and the group of women are soluting to a 14th season, Garcelle Beauvais walks off set in a tizzy. It’s unknown what was said in the huddle to upset her so much that she walked away.
