The Kardashians Season 6 Episode 10 Recap: Always Enchanting

We’ve made it to the final episode of Season 6 of The Kardashians, and the women may be busier than ever. As their botched camping trip to Joshua Tree comes to an end, it’s not long before the reality TV royalty scatters again on various international trips.

On an emotional level, Khloé is still going through a lot, dealing with her relationship (or lack thereof) with her ex, Lamar, as well as what her family members think of how she’s been handling the situation. And the season comes to a close with a huge bang — Kendall and Kylie have major engagements in Paris, and Kim has an intimate party to celebrate her 44th birthday.

Getting Out Of Dodge For Good

We pick up with the women in Joshua Tree, where Kris has taken it upon herself to drive home in the middle of the night. Khloé is shocked when she wakes up to a voicemail from her mother explaining why she had to “get out of dodge.” To the cameras, Khloé jokes that this kind of move from her parent doesn’t help her abandonment issues, and that she will be bringing it up in therapy.

She explains why Kris leaving caught her off guard:

Of course she vanished in thin air. I’m not surprised she left me, but I’m surprised she left Kim.

Later, back at home, Kendall and Kylie go over to Khloé’s to chat with her before a busy week. Kendall shows up with plans to discuss Khloé’s reunion with Lamar with her. “I could tell you were shut off,” she tells her older sister. “You have no idea what happened that day,” Khloé tells her, though she does admit that she was guarded in the moment to protect herself.

The women try to hack it in the wild.

“I think it would be foolish of me to not put up walls,” she tells the cameras. She’s growing frustrated with her family members, who might be coming from a good place but who don’t fully understand what she’s going through. Khloé expresses how infuriating it is that men in her life have treated her like “a doormat” and then expected her to be available to them after treating her so poorly:

Everyone loves to say how great I am — after. But why don’t you think that before? It’s really insulting.

The Family Heads To Europe For The Finale

Later, Kylie and Kendall head to Paris for fashion week. Over lunch, Kendall gives her sister some tips for walking the runway, speaking from her own experience. “It’s really not that scary,” she reassures her. When it’s time for Kendall’s L’Oréal show, she dons a red gown and steps out onto a balcony to wave to the crowd before walking the runway, saying that she “felt like a princess for two seconds.”

The Kardashians Season 6 Episode 8 Recap: Legally Kim

Kim heads to a firefighting concentration camp to learn more about prison reform.

For her part, Kylie walks in her first show for Coperni in front of the Disney Paris castle. Meanwhile, Khloé, Kris, and Malika fly to London for 48 hours to have a shopping spree that Kris has planned for them. Khloé admits that she hasn’t been talking to Lamar but that he has been DMing her strange things on Instagram. She says she learned from the news, not from him, that he ordered a blowup doll that looks like her, which she finds “creepy and gross.”

Setting that aside, the women go shopping at Selfridge’s for holiday gifts, first looking through the toys for the kids and then moving to the clothes. Kris makes Khloé take a photo in front of the Good American section, embarrassing her. That evening, they drive around to look at some holiday lights, even though Khloé herself is exhausted. “Once you’ve seen one Christmas light, you’ve seen them all,” she says.

MJ celebrates her 90th birthday and Kris calls security on a bear.

Khloé’s second day in London is extremely busy, with a photo shoot for her podcast art, for Vogue, and for her launch at Harrod’s. She also fits in the time for an interview, talking about the changes in her life since she’s turned 40. Khloé admits she wasn’t expecting Harrod’s to put so much effort into the launch of her fragrance, XO Khloé, and that seeing it means so much to her. “Every square inch is pure perfection,” she gushes.

At the launch, Khloé says that the fragrance is truly the first line she’s done on her own, without the help of her sisters, and she thanks her best friend Malika for always being there to support her. Kris also tells her daughter just how proud of her she is — and how she knows her forties are going to bring great things for her.

Once everyone returns home, their closest family and friends return to celebrate Kim’s 44th birthday. Kris gives a speech, saying that Kim is an amazing mother, then kicking off a game where everyone at the table has to describe the birthday girl with one word. Kris chooses “strength,” Kendall chooses “courageous,” Kourtney chooses “loyal,” and Khloé chooses “enchanting.”

When the cake comes out, Kim blows out the candles and shares that her birthday wish is for the Menendez brothers to be released from prison. She reflects that this year has taught her that “there’s always something new to try,” and that it’s the most special when she gets to share that with her family.

Just like that, Season 6 of the show comes to an end. With the family traveling all over the globe, they’re grateful it can come to a close with everyone together. They each feel like the past year has brought them incredible new experiences and that they’re in a good place to move into the next one. No doubt Season 7 will keep up with the trend!
