Just when Garcelle Beauvais was starting to fight back, she announced that she was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, just ahead of the Season 14 finale on March 25. Some of her co-stars didn’t respond (shady), but reality TV newbie Bozoma Saint John expressed “disappointment” over Garcelle’s exit.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Boz and Erika were asked about the major news. Erika said they’d known about Garcelle quitting for “two weeks” during the reunion (Andy Cohen didn’t), while Boz had some “corporate” notes about how the whole thing unfolded.

Boz Didn’t Like That Garcelle Quit After Storming Off The Reunion
After a brief pause between her and Erika, Boz admitted: “Look, I am disappointed… that she is departing like this. I wish that she would have stuck around to work out another season.” She was referring to Garcelle storming off the reunion as teased in the trailer.
After leaving the set, Garcelle was seen cursing out her co-stars. “I am just so f****** sick of it,” she said. After changing out of her stunning pearl dress, she added: “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them. They’re all f****** a******.”
Erika said on WWHL that she knew Garcelle would quit after seeing her “upset” during the reunion. The “XXPEN$IVE” performer also noted that the actress didn’t take the cast photo. Andy said Kyle Richards was also not in the photo, but Erika quipped, “You know Kyle’s going to show up though. Where is she going?”
Kyle and Dorit didn’t publicly post or comment on Garcelle’s departure from the series. Instead, they were seen hyping up Erika’s St. Lucia post on Instagram. Sutton Stracke, Jennifer Tilly, and other Bravo stars left supportive messages on Garcelle’s video announcement.

Andy simply wrote, “an incredible run from an incredible human ❤️🙌👏 BRAVO.” But RHOBH alum and Garcelle’s known frenemy, Lisa Rinna threw subtle shade by posting a tribute photo to the “Fox Force Five,” the “mean girls” of the series, including Dorit, Kyle, Rinna, Erika, and Teddi Mellancamp, who’s currently battling cancer.
Bozoma Saint John Was Hoping To Be “Besties” With Garcelle Beauvais On RHOBH
After her WWHL statements, Boz took to her Instagram Story to pay Garcelle a proper tribute. Alongside the photo above, she praised Garcelle for her “pioneering, bravery, and grace in 5 seasons of RHOBH.” Boz then revealed that she was hoping to be “besties” with the reality star.
“I wish we’d had more time together on this platform to continue showing the world that both of us can exist in the same space with different offerings and different opinions (and besties!),” Boz wrote.
The former Netflix CMO felt that it would have been nice to “still find a way to resolve [her] differences [with Garcelle] without tearing the world apart. And that [they’re] able to shine bright together and individually too.”
Boz then acknowledged that Garcelle is “leaving on [her] terms,” and that while she’s “disappointed by [her] exit, it is commendable.” She concluded the post by saying: “I’m wishing you even greater success… ONWARD! With respect always… Boz.”

Garcelle and Boz didn’t have many interactions on the show. But towards the end of Season 14, during the St. Lucia trip, the two were seen bonding on the catamaran where Sutton was “tried at sea.” It’s too bad, we didn’t get to see more; we get why Boz is “disappointed.”

Garcelle Can Return To RHOBH “Anytime”
Garcelle cited family as her primary reason for leaving RHOBH. “One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys,” she said. “Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too.”
She also informed fans that she has “the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in—I can’t tell you anything now but you’ll know soon.”
What’s interesting is that Garcelle said she’s open to returning to the series. “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime,” she said. “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So see you later.”
On a March 26 broadcast of Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live, the Bravo boss said he had “a serious conversation” with Garcelle before she went on WWHL where she cursed Erika. Andy confirmed that Garcelle left the reunion on bad terms.

“She let me into where her head was at, and there was not only stuff with the show… The kids are entering their senior year. And I really respect that fact… It ended with her saying, ‘I’ve got to choose kind of my life.'” Andy recalled.
Andy went on to verify that the doors remain open for Garcelle, should she want to return. “I was like, ‘Look, call us in a year by the way if you feel like it. See where you’re at,'” he said.
In the last few seasons, some viewers deemed Garcelle “boring.” Others even claimed that the former housewife was scraping for storylines when she made insinuations about Paul “PK” Kemsley staging the robbery that traumatized his estranged wife, Dorit in 2021.
In the Season 14 reunion trailer, Dorit and Garcelle’s unresolved feud seems to be getting the spotlight again. Dorit’s silence amid Garcelle’s exit is already a hint as to what transpired back there.
