Joy Mojisola Raimi, an Osun-born beauty queen, emerged victorious in the 2025 Miss World Nigeria pageant, defeating strong contenders such as Miss Imo, Miss Ebonyi, Miss Abuja, and Miss Abia.

The highly anticipated competition, which featured 37 contestants from across Nigeria, took place on Friday at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

With her win, Raimi will now represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant, which is set to take place in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, 2025. At the global event, she will compete against contestants from 140 countries.

Miss World Nigeria is an annual pageant that celebrates and showcases the positive qualities of Nigerian women, highlighting their beauty, intelligence, and cultural richness.
