A former governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has condemned the actions of governors and leaders who criticise their predecessors.
Okezie said it is only lazy leaders who focus on criticising their leaders, not the job they have been elected or appointed to do.
The former governor said this while delivering a keynote lecture in Abuja on Thursday, April 10, with the theme: Showcasing Africa’s Developmental Capacities in the Current Multi-polar Realities.
He also said the governors only fail to appreciate the good works of their predecessors and develop on them.
Okezie said, “Anybody who comes to leadership and starts by saying that everything that his predecessor is doing is bad is a lady leader because you must be able to see what is good and build on it if you have come in the interest of the people.”
