Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has broken her silence following a viral video of her breaking down on social media.
According to reports online, the wife of Lateef had allegedly broken down following mockery from a troll over her inability to give birth for her husband of over 3 years. In the clip, which made rounds on TikTok, she spoke some words which were masked by a Muslim song about a barren woman being taunted for her childlessness while tears dropped from her eyes.
Reacting to the viral video, Bimpe revealed that she has been receiving several DMs, which has become overbearing for her. She made it known that the video circulating online was from a movie set as she reminded the public that she was an actress.
Raining curses on those circulating the video to deceive gullible fans, she assured the public that she was fine and would never have any reason to cry or bring her private matters to social media.
“I usually don’t do this, but the DMs are becoming overbearing.
All of you who are circulating my location/set videos for traffic on your page on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, it shall never be well with every one of you. May you have reasons to cry, and may your family cry over you. You will never have peace as you have decided to deceive my followers, fans, and supporters with your fake news.
I don’t know what you are thinking, but I am very fine! I will not have any reason to cry or share my private matters on social media. If you see any video of me crying, then it’s obviously work!

Early this year, Lateef, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, had recalled how he proposed to Mo Bimpe on the phone and how she gets trolled online for not giving birth. He stated that his wife gets barren but remains unfazed.
In February, the couple celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary, and Lateef had described Mo as the most amazing woman ever and appreciated her for always pushing him to get things done and for being there for him.
Mo Bimpe, on her part, thanked him for loving her unconditionally as she declared herself a lucky woman to have someone like him.
Some years back, Lateef had opened up about their love story, revealing that he and Bimpe had vowed in their hearts, never to marry their colleague until they met each other and, things changed. He also revealed that they had both encountered a roadblock in their relationship over their different religion.
