Lisa Barlow has developed a reputation throughout her time on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Yes, she has become known for the drama that often steals the show on reality television. However, she also has quite a following from people who want to know her favorite products. These can range from beauty to keeping her home clean.
This season, Lisa opened up about her self-care essentials. She revealed her favorite lip gloss, what she uses for her hair, and how she keeps her living space clean. While some might find it hard to believe, Lisa insists she takes part in keeping her home spotless.
Lisa Revealed Her Favorite Beauty Products
Lisa revealed that her go-to lip gloss is the NYX Butter Gloss Non-Sticky Lip Gloss. “I actually have one in every bag I carry on the regular,” she said. “I always have that with me. I love it so much. It’s so good.” Lisa said her go-to shade is Madeleine. “It’s the best ever,” she said. “It’s the perfect Pinky Brown, the perfect hydrator.”
Other celebrities who swear by this lip gloss are Kyle Richards, Charity Lawson, and Kaylor Martin. It has more than 84,600 five-star reviews on Amazon and over 5,100 five-star reviews on Ulta. When asked what products she keeps in her bag for those times she’s without her glam squad, Lisa said, “100%—there is a comb that I love. It’s a teasing comb brush from the brand Diane. I’d love to have that in my purse because it’s pretty small and long. You just can’t have a little tiny nano or micro bag, but I love it.”
When it comes to haircare, Lisa promoted the Diane Pin Tail Comb. “I can get lift in my hair and brush off the ends to make sure my hair stays really pretty throughout the night,” she told the outlet. “That is my favorite.” She added, “It’s literally my go-to. I bought ten of them to make sure I have them all the time.”
The product has more than 3,500 five-star Amazon reviews. Lisa is known for getting spray tans. However, she did admit there are things she uses to prep in between sessions. “It is so important that you maintain in between, especially because sometimes I’m showering two to three times a day, depending on what’s going on in my day,” she said. “I love Cetaphil. Lisa Went Through Her Favorite Cleaning Products
Some might not believe Lisa actually cleans her own house. However, the reality star would like to say otherwise. She explained why cleaning was such an important activity to her. “I think it makes you feel like you can decompress,” she told the outlet. “You can gather your thoughts, think through things, and process everything. I love to mentally organize while I’m cleaning.”
She added, “For me, clean feels amazing. And I think when you’re crazy busy, you want to come home and have your space feel like a refuge from everything, and a clean house always makes you feel that way.”
And to further prove she’s not lying, Lisa went over her cleaning rituals. “I’m a nighttime cleaner,” she revealed, “I wait until everyone goes to bed, and then I go through and make sure the baseboards are perfect, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen countertops are spotless, and the tables and common areas are all in order. And then, I love making sure my bathroom feels like a sanctuary.”
Lisa even admitted it’s not just for her own happiness. She also wants to instill the importance of cleaning in her sons. “I’ve really instilled the importance of cleaning to them,” she confessed. “I’ll say, ‘Someday you’re going to have kids, someday you’re going to have a wife, and you want to make sure you’re clean and that you’re an asset in the house, not the one making all the messes.'”
It’s also nice to know that Lisa is just like the rest of us and uses Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. “The disinfecting wipes are great when you get off a plane,” she said, “you know, the bottom of your shoes are hitting the same ground that other shoes have been on, the dirty bathroom on the plane, which I avoid at all costs. I like to wipe down the bottom of my shoes and make sure my baseboards are perfect.”

In addition to her sons, Lisa also said that being the mother of an adorable dog has also inspired her love of cleaning. “I think having a pet makes me extra cognizant,” she explained. “We have our bougie little dog, Kendle—she’s a Weimaraner Catahoula. We make sure our house is spotless. I want people to walk in and be like, ‘Oh, it smells like Clorox. It’s so clean. I’m not afraid to eat or use the restrooms here.’”

I think that one’s great for large surfaces, like my bathrooms, bathtubs, and shower floor.” She also loves the Clorox Clean-Up Multi-Surface Cleaner With Bleach. “All my tiles are from Spain, so I’m really careful with them, and Clorox does the trick,” she said. “But for me, it just feels good to have products that you know are going to disinfect.”
Lisa Admitted To Her Go-To Hair Care Products And Favorite Snacks
Lisa has become known for her shiny hair and love of Kerastase. However, there is one product Lisa considers her go-to. “I have Sephora delivering me the Thermique right now, same-day delivery,” she admitted. “My hair will be pulled back in a slick bun until I get that product.”
Lisa has also raved about the Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique Heat Protecting Leave-In Cream. “This is the perfect hydrator and heat protectant, and it just enhances everything,” she said. “It’s not too heavy, but it is a product I’ve been using for over a decade.” The product currently has over 1,300 five-star reviews on Amazon.
Lisa also uses the Shu Uemura Muroto Volume Lightweight Care Shampoo. “I’m obsessed with the cleanliness of it,” she said. “I wash my hair every day.” She added, “Some people are lucky and can get away with doing it a couple of days a week, but I wash my hair every single day. “
