Life Feels Cold Without You – Singer, Mr Eazi Bids Final Goodbye To His Mother (Photos)

Nigerian singer Mr. Eazi has opened up about the profound sorrow he feels over the passing of his mother, Pastor Mrs. Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.

As his mother was laid to rest, the burial was attended by prominent guests, including business mogul Femi Otedola and his wife Nana Otedola. Music star Tekno was also present to support his friend and colleague, Mr Eazi.

“I miss you more than words can express. Your absence has left a void that nothing can fill, a pain that time cannot heal,” he stated.

“No amount of memories can replace your presence, your love, your unwavering support. You were the foundation of our faith, the rock upon which so many found strength and purpose.”

Mr Eazi described his mother as a woman who lived selflessly, always sacrificing and giving, even when he struggled to believe in himself.

He spoke about how her unwavering belief in him shaped his life and career.

“Life feels cold, distant, and incomplete without you,” he continued. “I know people say you’re in a better place, but selfishly, I wish you were still here, holding us together, guiding us, loving us as only you could.”

The tribute also noted the role his mother played in his life, comforting him in his fears and always seeing greatness in him, even when he could not see it in himself.

“Mummy, you carried my burdens, corrected me with love, comforted me in my fears, and always saw greatness in me,” he added.

“I vow to live in a way that honours your dreams for me, to become the man you always believed I could be.”

Mr Eazi concluded his tribute with a promise to honour his mother’s love and memory, saying, “Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for being my mother.

“I love you. I miss you. And until we meet again, I will carry your love with me forever.”
