Former Xscape member LaTocha Scott headed to Nene Leakes’ new YouTube show, where she opened up about her rift with her sister, Tamika Scott.
LaTocha walked away from the group after Xscape members became increasingly uncomfortable with her behavior, but her sister did not step in to stop it from happening. LaTocha says that at one point, the members wanted to kick Tamika out of the group, but she threatened to walk if they did.
“I remember when we were about to do ‘Understanding’. The song was getting ready to come out, and she had gotten pregnant. And I’ll never forget. They were like, ‘Okay, we’re going to kick her out.’ That bothered me,” LaTocha claims.
“I felt a way, but I couldn’t give up on my sister. You know what I told them? She goes; I go. That could have been my whole career. I wouldn’t have been sitting here. You wouldn’t have been asking me about Xscape. Because that’s the love and the loyalty that I had. So does it hurt to know that? Yes. It’s deep. Very deep,” she continued.
Fans saw LaTocha and Tamika’s drama play out during the filming of Bravo’s “SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B,” show.
Viewers were left shocked when Tamika accused LaTocha and her husband, Rocky Bivens, of stealing $30,000 of her royalty money.
