Kanye West is back on X, formerly Twitter, this morning and once again tore into his former friend, late designer Virgil Abloh.
In the tweet, Ye accused Abloh of stealing his dream and speaking out against him for wearing a MAGA hat and supporting Donald Trump.

Ye says that the betrayal hurt him and upset him when his friends approached him about how he had been speaking about Abloh.
Ye and Abloh met in Chi-Town’s creative scene in 2009 when they both interned at Fendi, pitching wild ideas like leather joggers.

Abloh later took the reins as creative director at DONDA and helped shape the iconic Watch the Throne rollout. By 2013, he launched Off-White, a high-end streetwear label, but the rift between them came when he landed the Men’s Artistic Director role at Louis Vuitton in 2018…a spot Ye had long dreamed of.
In his recent interview with DJ Akademiks, Ye was asked about his beef with Abloh. “I’m evil,” he responded while rocking a black KKK hood.
