Tanzanian artiste, Juma Jux, who is currently having his traditional wedding in Lagos, has pledged to take good care of his bride’s parents, Iyabo Ojo and her ex-husband.
In a viral clip from the ongoing wedding ceremony, the groom while saying a prayer makes a promise to his bride’s parents saying he will take care of them and invite them over to Tanzania when he and his bride start having kids.
“Daddy i will take care of you, very soon you will come and take care of our children, i and my wife will take care of you,….i love you but i love my wife more than you sha…” Juma Jux pledged.
In response, the mother of the bride Iyabo Ojo blushed, saying “Amen” to the prayers while her ex-husband and father of the bride smiled.
Kemi Filani recalls that Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo in the early hours of today, rained prayers on her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, earlier today while getting dressed for the traditional wedding.
In a clip making rounds online, Iyabo was captured praying for her daughter Priscilla, who was kneeling beside her.
The mother of two blessed her marriage and wished her the best. She also prayed for the guests who will celebrate with them later today.
in March, 2024, Iyabo revealed her desire for Priscilla to follow her footstep by getting married at a young age and having kids. The mother of two stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage, but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure.
Luckily for her, her desire came to pass as in August, Priscilla brought the Tanzanian singer to Nigeria for his birthday, where she and her family sweetly welcomed him. Her actress mother had ushered him into the Ojo family, noting how extra was their middle name, as she declared her love for him.
