Senator Abdulhamid Malam-Madori, representing Jigawa North East Senatorial zone, has cautioned all those eying Danmodi’s seat in 2027 not to waste their time as there is “No Vacancy in jigawa Govt House.”
Speaking at a Citizens and Government Engagement Programme in Birniwa Local Government Area of the state last Sunday said there is no vacancy for those dreaming of gunning for the governorship race in Jigawa State comes 2027.
“Governor Namadi deserves a second term for him to consolidate upon his success for continuity in governance based on his outstanding performance,” he said.
Malam-Madori, who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Police Affairs, threw his weight behind Namadi’s bid for a second term in office and urged politicians in the state to rally around Governor Namadi and support his re-election bid, rather than contesting against him.
As a staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Malam Madori’s endorsement carries weight, and his call for politicians to support the governor’s re-election bid may influence the party’s nomination process.
On his scorecard achievement, Senator Malam-Madori said he executed over 68 meaningful projects worth over N5 billion to better the lots of his constituents.
Malam-Madori, the Senate House Committee Chairman on Police Affairs, said he provided a brand new patrol van worth N1.5m to each of the eight Police Divisional Headquarters of his Jigawa North-East Senatorial Zone.
He said he also provided several motorized boreholes and electrification of major towns, in addition to securing gainful employment opportunities for the teeming youths of his constituency among others.
He assured his constituents of more dividends of democracy.
