The Joint Administration and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Saturday announced that the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence on April 24.
In a statement signed by its public communication advisor, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB said the UTME previously scheduled for April 25 will now take place on April 24.
According to Benjamin, the adjustment follows the board’s plan to accommodate essential commitments and that of its partner agencies.
He also noted that candidates can now print their notification slips which would contain all the necessary information – including examination date, venue, time and other essentials needed for the examination.
He said, “Candidates are encouraged to print their Notification Slips starting today, Saturday, April 19, 2025. This will provide ample time for logistical arrangements to access their assigned centres within the chosen examination towns.”
Benjamin also released steps to printing the notification slips which include visiting the website (www.jamb.gov.ng); clicking on the “2025 UTME Slip Printing”; entering your registration number and clicking on “Print Examination Slip.”
All candidates have been urged to ensure that their slips are printed earlier before the examination to help them familiarise themselves with their centres ahead of time.
“This preparation will help ensure a smooth experience on exam day,” Benjamin noted.1
