Social media users are reacting to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s win at the just-concluded Headies Awards, which were held on Sunday night at the Landmark Event Centre.

The Tanzanian singer, who was at the event with his wife, Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, had won the Best East African Artiste of the Year.

In his speech, Juma appreciated God, his wife, his management, his family, his JP lovers and the organisers of the award for believing in East African music.

His win has raised eyebrows on social media as many noted how his marriage to Priscilla, gave him an edge over others.

On Thursday, April 17th, Priscilla and Juma Jux had traditionally wedded. The traditional wedding attracted many high-profile personalities, celebrities, and public figures like the Governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke, Chief Ebenezer Obey, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Peter Okoye of Psquare, Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Sola Sobowale, Ruth Kadiri, Mercy Eke, Mide Martins, Destiny Etiko, and more.

Two days after the traditional wedding, the couple held their white wedding at a beach front in Lagos which had in attendance few celebrities.
