Brittany Renner and Kevin Gates recently came out as an official couple, but the rapper says the social media personality never looks through his phone before explaining why.
Speaking on a video shared by The Shade Room, Renner explained why she avoids looking at his cell phone.
“I’m just minding my business,” she said before Gates chimed in, adding, “When you go looking for trouble, you’ll find it.”
Gates and Renner’s connection dates back to 2022 when Renner received a shout-out in Gates’ song “Super General” and appeared in his “Bad For Me” music video.
The pair seemingly confirmed their romantic connection after appearing together on a livestream with DDG and when Gates later shared a video of them holding hands and singing “Candy Rain” during a car ride.
However, a woman named Persia P has claimed to be in a relationship with Gates, alleging that he told her he was legally separated from his wife, Dreka Gates. Upon seeing Gates’ public displays of affection with Renner, Persia felt misled and accused him of manipulative behavior and slammed Renner’s commitment to Islam and abstinence.
