Season 4 of Hulu’s smash hit TV show has certainly proved to be no exception, with notable actors and comedians popping up in nearly every episode.

This is the case for Jacob’s ex Zach’s new love interest in the season. The actor who plays Wyatt is none other than Matteo Lane, a successful and versatile comedian. His website boasts that he’s more than just a joke teller, and that he’s known for his “unique blend of stand-up comedy, musical prowess and artistic versatility.” According to his website bio, Matteo possesses a variety of impressive skills:

Fluent in five languages and with a singing range of six octaves, Matteo has lived in Italy as an oil painter and classically trained opera singer before starting his comedy career.

As of this article’s writing, Matteo has a whopping 1.7 million followers on his Instagram page. The comedian had a huge break when he was featured in Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup, a series featuring a mix of up-and-coming stand-up comedians. His sets often include jokes surrounding his identity as an Italian and as a queer man, poking fun at both demographics in different ways. On the scripted side of TV, Matteo has also had small roles in a number of other series, including Crashing and Survival Of The Thickest.
