Nollywood actress and filmmaker Genevieve Nnaji has replied to some trolls who age-shamed her.
A troll had taken to her Twitter page to remind her that she can’t cheat nature. He noted that his once fine wine was already growing old.
“You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old’.
Replying to him, Genevieve told him that it could get worse. She noted how she would someday get so old and die, and that’s if she is lucky.
“It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky”.
Another troll reminded her that she was old, and she replied, letting him know that she wouldn’t wish that on him.
“Mummy, u don old o”, the troll wrote.
She responded, “Daddy, I don’t wish it on you”.

Genevieve marked the Year by wishing her fans a happy New Year. She hoped that they have the very best this year and admonished them to stay safe, she prayed that God bless them.
Unlike this year, Genevieve Nnaji made her first post for 2024 in May as she celebrated her 45th birthday. She appreciated the public for the love and prayers on her birthday as she stated that because of them, she could go further.
In September, she had reacted after a fan queried her over her love for posting at night after she shared a video of herself taking a stroll at night. The fan noted how the movie star was always posting at midnight, like American singer Beyonce. However, despite her late-night post, the fan let her know that they were always ready for her.
Recall that in 2022, it was alleged that Genevieve was admitted to a hospital in Houston, Texas following a mental breakdown.
Genevieve immediately debunked the reports with a video of her painting on her Instagram story, which many didn’t believe.
In September, Genevieve made a public appearance at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival in Canada, where she premiered her movie, I Do Not Come To You By Chance.
