Fashion Police Accuses 2Baba Of Wearing Fake Designer Outfit

  • 2Baba, is in the news due to speculation about his marriage.
  • Rumors suggest a connection between 2Baba and politician Natasha Osawaru.
  • The singer has attracted attention from T20luxury, a prominent fashion watchdog in Italy.

Nigerian music legend 2Baba, whose real name is Innocent Idibia, has once again found himself in the spotlight amid ongoing speculation about his marriage and rumored connection with politician Natasha Osawaru.

This time, the award-winning singer has caught the attention of Italy’s well-known fashion watchdog, T20luxury.

According to reports from GistLover, T20luxury has previously criticized several Nigerian celebrities—including Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Regina Daniels, and Charles Okocha—for allegedly wearing counterfeit designer clothing. The latest focus of their scrutiny is 2Baba, whom they claim was recently seen in fake apparel.

A viral video captured the African Queen crooner at a Lagos nightclub, where he was spotted alongside Afrobeats star Davido and Natasha Osawaru. In the footage, 2Baba wore a brown Fendi shirt, black jeans, and a matching cap.

However, T20luxury asserted that the outfit was not an authentic Fendi piece. The fashion brand took the opportunity to remind 2Baba of the significance of maintaining a genuine and credible personal and professional image.

Addressing him with respect as a “legend,” they advised the singer to be more cautious when selecting his wardrobe to avoid wearing counterfeit items.

They wrote:

“Dear Legendary 2baba, We understand that as an artist, you may rely on stylists or personal shoppers to curate your wardrobe and accessories. However, there is a possibility that counterfeit items may have unintentionally entered your collection through third-party sources.

“Given your influential role within the creative industry, we trust that you recognize the importance of authenticity and the negative impact of counterfeit goods on originality and craftsmanship. Maintaining the integrity of your personal and professional brand requires careful attention to sourcing.

“To uphold industry standards and ensure authenticity, we encourage you to always buy original items directly from the brand owners. Either locally owned brands, fast fashion, or high street brands and not imitators. If you want high end products, exercise due diligence when selecting stylists and personal shoppers. Working exclusively with verified vendors and certified professionals such as T20Luxury is essential. We kindly ask that you share this message with your stylists and shoppers.”
