Grammy award-winning music star Burna Boy has shared a message to artists.
In an Instagram story, he told them not to let Twitter polls and social media fans deceive them, as they won’t fill any stadium for them in any part of the world.
He stated that one’s song being number one on any streaming platform in Nigeria isn’t something to celebrate. Burna admonished them to aim higher or do other side business.
“Dear artists,
Don’t let Twitter polls and Naija social media fans deceive you. They won’t fill up any stadium for you in any part of the world.
Your song being Number 1 on any streaming platform in Nigeria is not something to celebrate. Aim higher or do other businesses on the side. I type with love. No Sign Of Weakness”.


Similarly, Spyro had sent a message to upcoming artists. He educated them that signing with the biggest label or artiste in the world doesn’t guarantee their success. He explained that if one already carries a failure mentality that everything must be done for them, the label would only amplify them to be a massive failure. Spyro made it known that one’s talent without diligence and hard work will fail one, as he admonished them to stop building castles in the air.
