Reality TV personality Aderombi Adedayo Martins, widely known as Deeone, has shared a personal account of the challenges he faced after publicly clashing with social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman. The comedian recently recounted his unsettling experience following an online confrontation with Otse, which escalated into an intense feud.
According to earlier reports from GistLover, the two had been at odds for some time, with Deeone taking to social media to severely criticize Verydarkman. During the exchange, he even threatened to reveal damaging evidence about the TikTok influencer.
In a recent appearance at an event, Deeone explained that his online feud with Otse took a toll on his life in ways he hadn’t expected. He claimed that during the period of the conflict, he and his colleague Nedu experienced sleepless nights, which Deeone attributed to what he believes were spiritual attacks. He later suggested that Otse may have been using “juju” (spiritual powers) against him, explaining that it wasn’t just an online spat but rather something far more troubling.
In a candid moment captured on video, Deeone described seeking spiritual help at the Mountain of Fire Ministries, where he underwent deliverance in an attempt to rid himself of the negative forces he felt were influencing him. The comedian also revealed that he had visited several churches seeking assistance in overcoming the issue.
Despite Deeone’s revelation, many of his followers expressed skepticism about his story, with some criticizing him for not being as humorous as he used to be. Additionally, several individuals took to social media to mock him for frequently mentioning Verydarkman and keeping their feud alive.
It’s worth noting that Deeone had previously issued an apology to Nedu, admitting to having set up Verydarkman during the initial conflict.
