In one of her most vulnerable interviews to date, rapper and internet personality Bhad Bhabie—real name Danielle Bregoli—is speaking out about the abuse she endured as a child, and the emotional scars it left behind.
The 22-year-old appeared on Ari Fletcher’s podcast “Dinner With The Don,” where she opened up about the trauma she says she experienced between the ages of three and six at the hands of her mother’s ex-boyfriend.
“Nobody ever goes to jail when it comes to me,” she told Ari, holding back tears. “Both people that did something to me never went to jail.”
According to Bhad Bhabie, she reported the abuse to both her mother, Barbara Bregoli, and to the police, but says her claims were ignored. No arrests were made, and no justice followed. For many survivors, especially those abused as children, this lack of accountability can be just as damaging as the abuse itself.
Later in the episode, Ari brought up a second unnamed man—described as “that big guy that used to be with you,” with his name censored for legal reasons. Bhad Bhabie confirmed he had also sexually abused her while she was still a minor. The revelation has since set TikTok users into full investigation mode, with many speculating about the man’s identity, though no confirmations have been made.
The rawness of Bhad Bhabie’s honesty took Ari by surprise. Visibly emotional, she told the rapper, “I wish you would’ve known me back then. I’m so sorry that happened to you.”
The interview offered a side of Bhad Bhabie many hadn’t seen. Known first for her viral “Cash Me Ousside” moment on Dr. Phil, and later for her unapologetic rap career and controversial internet persona, she’s often been misunderstood. But behind the headlines and viral moments, there’s clearly deep pain and survival.
Bhad Bhabie also reflected on her time at Turn-About Ranch, a behavior correction program in Utah she was sent to after her rise to internet fame. While she said she personally wasn’t harmed during her stay, she claimed that other girls were sexually abused while at the facility. Turn-About Ranch has faced similar accusations from other former participants in the past.
The conversation also touched on lighter topics, including her relationship with Le Vaughn, the father of her infant daughter, and her recent return to the spotlight following a rap beef with Alabama Barker—drama that’s reignited public interest in her music.
Still, the heart of the interview was her story. Her truth. And for once, the internet seems to be listening with empathy.
