Summer House has its share of reality television stars, and Paige DeSorbo is one of them. Her relationship with fellow reality star Craig Conover helped her become a topic of interest. However, the two would go their separate ways toward the end of last year.
Paige didn’t spill too many details about their split initially. This provoked a lot of rumors to break out among the fans. Some said Paige was unfaithful, but she has denied this. Craig, however, didn’t address the cheating rumors. He did tell fans that the breakup took him by surprise.
Amanda Batula would defend Paige by telling the media that Craig should’ve cleared up the cheating rumors himself. Paige also ended up sharing more details about their relationship. According to Paige, there were a lot of problems between the two which led to the split. She even said that she believes, in retrospect, she put up with more than she should have.
Paige DeSorbo Revealed The Issues Which Led To Her Breakup With Craig Conover
Paige DeSorbo recently claimed to have been “blinded” by her ex Craig Conover’s “embarrassing” behavior. The reason? She was madly in love with him. The reality star recently reflected on the relationship as their breakup from last year played out on television. Paige explained that her perspective has changed a lot since their three-year relationship came to an end.
“I think I loved him so much that I tolerated too much, and now that I’m out of it and I look back at things, I’m like, ‘Oh, wait,’” Paige admitted on the Summer House aftershow. Paige said that “anytime” she had a personal or professional success, Craig would “find a way to make it about him.”
“It was just embarrassing,” she revealed. “So, that’s something that I look back on now, and I’m like, ‘Oh, wow, I really was very blinded.’ I had to do a lot of damage control.” Paige went on a national tour for her Giggly Squad podcast, much to the dismay of Craig. According to Paige, Craig told her he thought she “worked too much.” “When I started having panic attacks this fall while I was doing Giggly Squad shows, he just thought it was because I worked too much,” Paige said. “So, it played into his, ‘Well, you work too much, and you shouldn’t be doing all of this.’”
Paige also revealed that Craig once encouraged her to watch a documentary about ABBA’s experiences on tour and how it “ruined their marriages and their lives.” “I was like, ‘I just got a beta blocker prescription, but thank you so much for the nightly TV watch,’” she said, referring to a medication she takes to minimize her anxiety prior to major events.
Paige also revealed that she and Craig “probably” did not have great communication due to the fact that she was too “straightforward and stern” for his taste. “It was like, ‘You’re harsh.’ So, I would kinda have to stay more quiet when he would voice his opinions because he would always take it as, like, a personal attack,” she explained.

Craig Conover said his split with Paige took him by surprise and Amanda Batula isn’t happy about it.
Despite this, Paige maintained that she always felt like she could “always say whatever [she] wanted” to Craig. The reality star did reveal, however, that she would hide some of her career milestones from him. “There were times when things would happen in my career. Would I tell him? No, absolutely not,” Paige confessed. “Like, when I would get certain milestones, no, I wouldn’t tell him because I knew he would want to be happy for me, but deep down he would not be.”
Craig Claimed He Was Caught Off Guard By His Breakup With Paige
In January 2025, Craig commented on the breakup for the first time via a post on Instagram. In a video message to followers, he revealed that the breakup took him by surprise. Prior to Craig’s revelation, there were already rumors that Paige ended things after finding out he was about to propose. Therefore, it was reported to have caught him off guard. While Craig didn’t go into details, his side of the story confirms at least one part of that rumor.
“I figured it’s finally time to check in with everyone,” Craig told fans. “Sorry about the delay, this has all been very, very unexpected to say the least… But I guess I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like — I have to start.” Craig said that he was using this as an opportunity to follow the advice he received from those in his life. He said this advice is, “‘Gratitude will get you through this, with time comes clarity’ – all of the advice, I’m trying to listen to.”
Craig went on to explain why he was surprised by the breakup. “[It happened] right before the holidays,” he said. “I was very shocked. And it’s OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it. Remember to be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff.”
Craig said that while he is doing well, he is still in a period of processing what happened. “I’m still processing everything, which is normal,” Craig said. “It’s a three-year relationship, it’s your best friend who you talk to all day everyday, and then they’re just gone. So, you know, one day I’ll be able to talk more on it.”

Craig went on to thank his followers for their “kind message” and supporting him during the split. He continued, “It’s just life. I have to take my own advice… that no one is ever not better off after a breakup.” He concluded his message to fans on an optimistic note, saying, “But I guess now I gotta practice what I preach and believe it and truly have faith in God that everything happens for a reason. But I love you all and I’ll see everyone on my travels this January. We got a lot coming up.”
Amanda Batula Criticized Craig For Ignoring The Rumors That Paige Was Unfaithful
Among the rumors that were going around in the aftermath of the breakup claimed Paige had cheated on Craig. Craig didn’t confirm nor deny these rumors. In fact, he didn’t address them once. Amanda Batula wasn’t happy about this and decided to speak to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea about the rumors. Amanda and her husband, Kyle Cooke, not only shut down the rumors, but criticized Craig for ignoring them. Amanda said that Craig should’ve shut the rumors down himself and was mad at him for refusing to do so.
“To not clear up any of the cheating rumors is insanity. Insanity,” Amanda said. “That was still your girlfriend of three years. Like, stand up for her a little bit,” she added, speaking to Craig directly. “He’s been silent.”
However, Paige isn’t the only one with best friends standing up for him. Craig’s friend Austen Kroll recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and claimed Paige “moved on with another guy” right after the breakup. “I don’t think that those are rumors. I think that they’ve been substantiated,” Austen told Andy. He also confirmed Craig “knows as such.”
Austen added, “You know, he didn’t know for a minute, but yeah. I think that he’s fully come to terms with that. That’s not a rumor.” Paige was quick to shut this down, however. She responded to Austen’s claims in an Instagram comment, writing, “Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken To in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing.”
According to Amanda, she knew of “multiple conversations” between Paige and Craig where they discussed their future as a couple. She claimed that the two openly spoke about the fact that their relationship wasn’t going in a good direction. “But he was ‘shocked,’” Amanda said. She went on to say that she could barely “even speak” for Craig when it came to his feelings on the situation. “Paige was nothing but kind in her words and Craig was just… he sent the dogs after her.”
