Speaking at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year award ceremony where Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji was honoured, Murray-Bruce emphasized the need for unity and support instead of constant public criticism.
Addressing the audience, he said, “Those of you on social media, stop criticizing Nigeria online, stop criticizing our leaders online.”
