Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko and his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, recently marked their daughter Naya’s 11th birthday with a joyous celebration.
Laila took to Instagram to share heartfelt moments from the event, posting pictures of herself, her husband, Naya, and the celebrant’s siblings. Expressing her joy, she conveyed gratitude for witnessing her daughter reach another milestone.

Naya, you are a true blessing in my life, and watching you grow into such a beautiful, smart, and kind soul fills my heart with joy. You brighten every moment with your love and laughter, and I am so proud of you!

Notably absent from the celebration was Regina Daniels, Nwoko’s well-known wife and Naya’s stepmother. Regina neither attended the event nor acknowledged the birthday publicly, sparking fresh rumors of tension within the family.
In previous years, Regina had displayed a close bond with Nwoko’s children. On Naya’s 10th birthday, she gifted the young girl an iPhone 13 Pro Max after she specifically requested it.
Similarly, in 2022, Regina played an active role in celebrating Naya’s elder sister, Maya, with a grand birthday party. Maya even penned a heartfelt note, calling Regina the “best stepmother in the world.”
Given Regina’s past gestures, many social media users were surprised by her silence this year, fueling speculations about a possible rift within the family.
