A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged kidnap, r@pe and m8rder of two 5-year-old girls in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
A family member of the victims had reported that the minors, both cousins, were found d3ad on Saturday morning, March 22, with their throats slit after they went missing.
“Two cousins, children of my own cousins, went missing yesterday morning in Port Harcourt. Their parents shared a house. I just received news that they were kidnapped, r3ped and their throats slit, all in under 20hrs. They were both five years old. My whole body is shaking,” she wrote.
Giving an update, she disclosed that the criminal confessed that he committed the act for money rituals.
“Thank you everyone for condoling with my family and for the outpouring of love. The criminals have been arrested, turns out they did this for ọgwụego. The dead are in the morgue pending investigation. My heart has broken into a million pieces but beyond heartache, I’m enraged.”
*Criminal* It was one man. I’m not seeing clearly, there are no more tears left in my eyes. I want to board a flight to Port Harcourt, head to the Police Station and bash his head in. I want to inflict unspeakable harm, I want to burn and cut and slash and chop till eternity!”
