Kim Kardashian’s latest photo shoot for Perfect magazine is facing criticism, but it’s not for posing nude with a champagne glass resting on her most famous asset. The Kardashians star is getting heat from fans for posing with Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck and a Tesla robot.

Kim’s latest photo shoot sees the star posing rather seductively with the robot. In fact, she is also seen lying in bed with Musk’s creation by the sea. The reality TV star’s sexy poses with a robot are odd to some, but the real question is, does Kim not read a paper?

Kim may not be keeping up with the current times as Tesla protests have taken place across the U.S. in response to Elon’s ties with President Donald Trump and his role in the White House.

Kim Kardashian’s latest photo shoot for the fashion magazine, Perfect, is not getting a ton of love from fans. In March, Kim shared that she was the new cover star for the mag’s November 2024 issue. The cover features Kim posing in lace bottoms while holding up a long piece of white fur to cover her naked chest. Behind Kim sits one of Elon Musk’s Tesla robots, seen seated on a lawn chair.

The following day, Kim shared photos from her shoot with the magazine. Shot by famed photographer Steven Klein back in November 2024, photos show Kim posing on top of her Tesla Cybertruck with her head back, taking a selfie with her Tesla robot, and lying on a bed near a rocky coastline, cuddling a robot with her famous asset exposed.

The reality star also shared her images on her X profile (formerly known as Twitter), even getting love from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who commented on her images with a robot arm flexing and a heart emoji.

However, Kim is facing a lot of heat. In particular, fans believe that the Skims founder is showing an allegiance to Elon and controversial U.S. President Donald Trump. Her photo shoot comes as protests have erupted at Tesla facilities across the U.S. in response to Elon’s new political power after Trump chose him to lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Tesla owners have even sold their vehicles because of Elon’s affiliation with Trump. In fact, country singer Sheryl Crow shared a video on Instagram waving goodbye to her Tesla after she decided to donate it.

“My parents always said… you are who you hang out with. There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla.,” the singer wrote.

Kim’s Latest Photo Shoot Has Fans Declaring They Won’t Shop At Skims

People are questioning why Kim appears to be aligning herself with the Tesla CEO amid mounting controversies. After she shared her Perfect magazine photos, her comment section saw people admitting that they would no longer purchase anything from her Skims line.

Meanwhile, others argue that Kim is too famous and wealthy to be concerned about political affiliation or the current climate.

Comments on her post included:

• “tell me what side you’re on without telling me what side you’re on.”
• “This is so disturbing. To play in our faces and say you are for police reform and then do things like this is absolutely insane.”
• “Omg Kim..what are you doing? Lol Just kidding because I dont give a crap but People can cry all they want because your a billionaire and are probably not losing sleep.”

According to The Mercury News, after receiving such overwhelmingly negative comments on her post, it was alleged that Kim limited her comments.

In fact, when one Instagram user wrote, “Never buying skims again. I’m kinda sick to my stomach rn,” it had disappeared, despite receiving over 20,000 likes. Art Net reached out to the user who wrote the comment. They shared that they did not remove it, proving that Kim’s PR team may have had a hand in deleting all the nasty commentary.

Kim showed off her Tesla Cybertruck back in February 2024, the same month she allegedly purchased the vehicle for nearly $100,000. Kim shared on Instagram Stories that she was the “cool carpool mom” after stating that she would pick up children from school in the lavish vehicle.

However, her photos also showed that Kim may need some help with her parking skills after fans pointed out that her back wheel was outside the white parking lines.

That same month, Kim was seen parking her futuristic ride outside a Starbucks in Malibu, California. She was able to snag an easy spot right in front of the coffee establishment. Prior to her coffee outing, Kim also shared photos of the car next to her $150 million private jet.

Kim clearly has a fascination with Elon’s inventions. But, her photo shoot with Perfect magazine was not the first time she has posed with both her Cybertruck and robot.

In November 2024, Kim shared several photos posing in front of an unreleased gold Tesla Cybertruck while a Tesla robot was seated in the front seat. The reality star seemed to be making fun of her single status when she called the robot her “boyfriend.”

Other photos showed her holding hands with the robot and sitting on its lap.
