The Eid-el-Fitr in Nigeria has been slated for Sunday, March 30, 2025, the Sultan of Sokoto and President General of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has said.
The marking of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration follows the sighting of the new moon of Shawwal 1446AH on Saturday, March 29.
The Sultan of Sokoto and the NSCIA is expected to give more details of the Eid celebration in an official announcement.
