The Valley Season 2 is gearing up to be an emotional roller coaster for the returning cast based on the trailer. Premiering on April 15th, the new season will pick up where the first season left — specifically, the fallout of Vanderpump Rules alums Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s separation.
The Season 2 trailer sees the former reality TV couple opening up about their new lives as they live apart after Brittany filed for divorce and asked for full custody of their young son, Cruz. Meanwhile, Jax is on a journey to better his life by seeking professional help. Jax and Brittany’s separation will surely be one of the main focuses this season, and it doesn’t look to be a smooth ride for either of them.

The Trailer Kicks Off With Brittany Cartwright Having To Navigate House Rules With Ex, Jax Taylor
The Valley Season 2 trailer kicks off with Brittany Cartwright accusing Jax Taylor of having other women at their house. With filming of the new season beginning in the summer of 2024, Brittany had just filed for divorce from Jax after a little over four years of marriage. It appears that with their separation, they are also trying to navigate how to split up their assets, which includes the house they bought together in 2019.
Brittany is having lunch with her co-stars, Michelle Lally and Janet Caperna, when she tells them she found women’s underwear in her bathroom.
“Jax has been seeing people. He had a girl staying here at the house again last night,” Brittany begins. “There is a thong on my bathroom sink. Like, why is there a baby wipe on top of it?”
The women laugh at the unexpected discovery. However, the trailer depicts more serious situations to come between Jax and Brittany, including Jax getting served paperwork for a divorce.
Brittany and Jax first met in 2015 in Las Vegas. The ups and downs of their relationship were shown on Vanderpump Rules.
Brittany announced her separation from Jax in February 2024. Brittany shared the news on her and Jax’s then-joint podcast, When Reality Hits. It was also before the premiere of The Valley Season 1, which saw the two still together.
“I’m taking one day at a time. I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz and I love you guys. Pray for us and everything will be just fine. We’re good.”
In August 2024, Brittany filed for divorce from Jax after he had completed a 30-day stay at a mental health facility. Surprisingly, Jax did not fight for custody of their son. According to court documents, Jax agreed to give Brittany full custody of Cruz.

Jax wasn’t too pleased with Brittany, discussing that she had found lingerie on her bathroom sink with her girlfriends in the upcoming season. In fact, Jax believed that she was exaggerating the underwear storyline. Speaking to Us Weekly, he admitted that it was “a brand new pair” and not one from a woman he had hooked up with.
“We did these bar crawls and girls sometimes leave us with things. And that’s what that was,” Jax explained.
Jax continued, “She’s like, “There was a wet wipe on it.’ “It was not like that at all. It was just, again, her creating her own narrative. I would own it. I would say it. I’d be like, ‘Yeah, I had a girl at the house ’cause I did have a girl at the house. What am I hiding?'”
After the reality star couple separated, Jax didn’t deny that he had hooked up with other women. He also told the outlet that Brittany was doing the same, even declaring that she was with one of his close friends at one point.
“All the rules were off.”
Learning that Brittany was talking to his close pal made him spiral out of control. (In March, Jax revealed he had a years-long addiction to cocaine). When he saw a name pop up on her phone during a car ride with their son in November 2024, he “lost it.” However, he made the right decision to enter into rehab for the second time.
“Brittany’s phone was plugged into my car, I saw another man’s name and lost it. Unfortunately, my son was in the car. I had flashes of everything you’re not supposed to do as a parent. She was like, he needs to go back. I didn’t put up a fight,” he told Us Weekly.
Jax has since declared being over 100 days sober.

Brittany Is Seen Serving Jax Divorce Papers In Season 2
The Valley Season 2 will mainly focus on Brittany and Jax’s separation, but there are other relationships that are put to the test this season. As fans know, Jesse Lally and Michelle Lally split towards the end of Season 1. When speaking on Brittany’s When Reality Hits podcast, Michelle shared:
“I had the conversation with Jesse at the beginning of October that it was no longer going to work and I wanted to file for divorce. Jesse and I have actually not been together since October, and since then, we were free to date and do whatever we want.”
While the show was airing, there were rumors that Michelle was unfaithful in their marriage. It’s a topic that will be shown in the upcoming season. In the trailer, viewers see Jesse stating, “Michelle admitted to cheating on me.” He then shockingly shares with co-star Luke Broderick, “I have evidence that she’s sleeping with a billionaire for $1,500 a night.”
A scene then sees Michelle throwing a cup of water at his face, while another clip shows the two in an intense argument where Jesse calls his ex-wife “a hooker.” “I’m the mother of your f****** child,” she screams at him.
Meanwhile, married couple Janet and Jason Caperna are also seen facing a few bumps in their marriage, specifically, the lawyer being accused of removing his wedding ring when he goes out.
The new season also sees Vanderpump Rules alums making cameos. The trailer shows Lala Kent giving Jesse a stern talking to, and Schena Shay taking a shot at a party. Tom Schwartz is also seen making a brief cameo. “I was a f****** husband. Good father, great father, terrible husband,” Jax shares, with Tom agreeing.
Season 2 of The Valley premieres on Tuesday, April 15th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, with episodes available to stream the following day on Peacock.
