During that conversation, Jerry was talking about “The Howard Stern Show” competing with comedy podcasts. To be more specific, Jerry stated that Howard had been “outflanked” by podcast hosts like Dana and David.
“Howard is interesting. Howard is a great interviewer, but, you know, comedy chops. I mean, can we speak candidly? They’re all great. But, let’s be honest. He’s been outflanked.”

The Hollywood Reporter went on to reveal that Jerry offered to appear on “The Howard Stern Show” to apologize in public. However, Howard declined that article, and he described his interest in simply moving on.
I don’t wanna get into it, it’s awkward. It’s fine. It wasn’t really that big of a deal.
