Nominees for the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have been unveiled.

 

The list of nominees for the highly anticipated 2025 edition was unveiled by organisers over the weekend.

 

Recall that the prestigious annual event celebrates outstanding achievements in African filmmaking, acting, and content creation, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry over the past year.

 

Among the nominees are Nigerian actors Adedimeji Lateef, Uzor Arukwe, and Chioma Chukwuka, who earned nominations in key acting categories.

 

Adedimeji Lateef received a nomination for Best Lead Actor for his performance in Lisabi: The Uprising, while Uzor Arukwe is in contention for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Suspicion.

 

Chioma Chukwuka secured a Best Lead Actress nomination for her work in Seven Doors.
