Nollywood actress and comedian Adeyela Adebola, widely recognized as Lizzy Jay, has delivered a powerful message to slender women, urging them to resist societal pressures and body-shaming.

In a post on her Instagram account, the comedic film star highlighted the growing trend of individuals resorting to weight-loss medications like Monjaro and Ozempic, along with various slimming concoctions, in pursuit of a slimmer appearance.

Speaking to women who frequently face labels such as “dry” or “too slim,” Lizzy Jay urged them to accept their natural body shape and stand firm against any form of harassment.

“Dear Slim women, or ‘Dry’ or whatever the society chooses to call you, have you seen the rate at which people use Monjaro (or is it Kilimanjaro, you people call it) and Ozempic to get slim? Have you seen the rate at which people drink all sorts of mixtures to get slim? Don’t let anybody pressure you o, most importantly, don’t let anybody bully you, oloriburuku ni opolopo ninu won,” she wrote.

In other news, Life coach Solomon Buchi has urged IfeLuv, the fiancée of OluwaDolarz, to consider ending their relationship to avoid a future filled with unhappiness.

It is important to recall that Ife Luv publicly confronted OluwaDolarz, accusing him of being unfaithful.

OluwaDolarz proposed to Ife Luv in November 2024, with a video capturing memorable moments from the engagement circulating online.

In a surprising turn of events, Ife Luv has declared the termination of their engagement through a series of posts on Instagram, detailing the reasons behind her choice.

She stated that she had previously ended her relationship with OluwaDolarz due to his infidelity and has taken on the primary responsibility for their son, Nifemi.

Solomon Buchi has expressed his thoughts on social media, advising Ife Luv to move on if OluwaDolarz lacks financial stability and has a pattern of cheating. He also recommended that she disregard the advice of the skitmaker’s mother, as her perspective may not align with contemporary views. Buchi emphasized the importance of Ife Luv protecting herself from a lifetime of misery.

“Dear Ife, While marriage isn’t a bed of roses, it’s wrong to get into it as a bed of thorns. If indeed everything you’ve said about Oluwadollarz is true—his cheating spree and lack of financial stability—let him go,” he wrote.

“It’s one thing for a man to cheat once and make it up to you, but it’s hellish and characteristic of him if he keeps sleeping with everything in a skirt. Ignore his mother’s plea because she’s from a different generation. A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. You sound like a very educated girl, save yourself a lifetime of misery.”
