Ani reportedly approached the car to ask the owner to dim the lights but found the man’s wife inside.
While explaining the request to the woman, the customer emerged and questioned the security guard about what he was discussing with his wife.

Following the incident, the management of the eatery apprehended the suspect and handed him over to the Mini-Okoro Police Division.
Speaking on the matter, a rights group, the Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign, stated that the deceased’s sister, Chinaza Ani, had approached them alongside their partner organisation, ‘Lawyers Watch for Justice International Initiative,’ in search of justice.
However, the National Coordinator of the centre, Prince Wiro, disclosed that Chinaza later asked the organisation to hold off on action as the family planned to meet with certain individuals regarding the case.
The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident and the suspect’s arrest.
“Yes, I can confirm the incident. The man has been arrested and is in our custody. Investigation is ongoing,” she said.
