Nollywood actress Biola Bayo and other well-meaning Nigerians have brought veteran actress Dupe Jayesimi to tears with their grand surprise for her on Mother’s Day.

In a video uploaded on Bisola’s social media page, the veteran was surprised with a new car in celebration of Mother’s Day. In the clip, Dupe was captured breaking down in tears as she appreciated Nigerians for their love and support.

In her caption, Biola appreciated everyone who made the dream a reality as she expressed how happy she was to put a smile on Dupe’s face.

“HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY MUMMY @dupe_jayesimi

Kemi Filani reported a few days back that the veteran actress, in an emotional interview with Biola, had opened up on her struggles with childlessness and failed marriage. She recalled how she suffered miscarriages and was maltreated by her husband. She also noted how she raised many people’s kids yet didn’t have any kids to celebrate her 60th birthday with. The veteran, however, expressed hope that as long as she is aligned, there would be a solution. Read more here.

Following her emotional interview, Biola shared a photo of her and the veteran as she assured her of her undying support. Biola made her know that she isn’t alone in this life journey and that her days of sorrow are over. The Yoruba actress declared that God has remembered Dupe as she begged people for financial support for the veteran.

Recall that in 2023, after many years of waiting, Biola welcomed her first child in her 40s after several failed IVFs. She narrated her painful journey to experience motherhood, revealing how she had a failed IVF, one cancelled surrogate circle, and three failed surrogate attempts within two years before she was blessed with her son.

For those who don’t know, surrogacy is a process in which a woman carries and delivers a child for a couple or individual.
