Beverly Ortega left The Bachelor Season 29 without telling Grant Ellis goodbye.
Who Is Juliana Pasquarosa?
According to ABC — and as we’ve seen on the show — “Juliana is a bubbly, outgoing woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and go after what her heart wants.”
Her official Bachelor biography continues, “she comes from a big Italian family and aspires to find a lasting love like her parents have” — who were high school sweethearts — as exemplified in her hometown date in Newton, Massachusetts.
With family aside, Juliana currently works as a Client Service Associate, however, she “wants to own a dog-friendly bar one day.” How sweet is that?
Nevertheless, when she is not working, she enjoys “dancing with friends, going out to museums and sporting events, or hanging in and watching a movie.” On paper, she is truly as easygoing as can be, seemingly always up for an adventure.
Her official Bachelor biography concludes, “Juliana hopes to meet a man who has a good heart, strong ambition and loves to hang out with family,” and needless to say, our fingers are crossed that that man is Grant.
While the 28-year-old is truly a breath of fresh air — seemingly the perfect partner for the professional basketball player turned day trader — her life has been far from sunshine and rainbows, opening up about her family’s struggle with addiction during her one-on-one date with Grant earlier this season.
Recently, she opened up about said struggles even more, this time in an Instagram post. Keep scrolling for the details.

Juliana Pasquarosa’s Family’s Struggle With Addiction
As mentioned, Juliana and Grant’s connection reached new heights during their one-on-one date, as they bonded over both having a close family member struggle with addiction during their childhood.
Discussing their ability to overcome feelings of loneliness — as well as their ability to provide support to those who are struggling — over dinner allowed viewers to see a different side of Juliana (and Grant), however, we were still left with several questions due to the overall vagueness of the conversation.
The Bachelor beauty nipped any vagueness in the bud with a heartfelt Instagram post on Feb. 25, which began, “Trying to verbalize a very personal struggle in this setting wasn’t easy, but I did it with the intention of trying to relate with someone that I knew had also struggled personally with this.”
She continued:
“There is an epidemic going on, with no rule book on how to overcome it. There is so much loss that comes with this, but I was blessed beyond words to witness a success story. It is not my story to tell, but the impact it had on me is.”
“If anything, I pray that someone — somewhere out there — might hear this and feel a little more seen, a little less alone and little more determined to keep going.”
She concluded with some words of wisdom, writing “whatever your circumstances are, I hope you choose life every time” before signing off. In the comment section of her Instagram post, fans of the Bachelor franchise shared some stories of their own, connecting with the Bachelor contestant through their screens. Is anyone else tearing up?
