Jinad Habibat, the Nigerian movie star, who is better known as Realomojinad, is advocating for greater support of emerging actors and actresses in the Nollywood film industry.
In an Instagram post, she emphasized the significance of established stars lending guidance and opportunities to new talent, which can substantially impact their careers.
Realomojinad highlighted the challenges filmmakers face in casting top actors, who are often unavailable due to prior commitments or travel.
She wrote: “Hello everyone! Supporting new talent in the film industry can go a long way. Honestly, getting your favorite actors for a project can be challenging.
“A friend of mine is producing a movie and has been searching for someone to play a significant role with 30 scenes. However, many actors are either already booked or currently outside Nigeria.
“Let’s encourage and celebrate new faces in the industry! Who knows, we might just discover the next big star. #SupportNewTalent.”
She captioned the Instagram post: “For the love of God let’s support new talent please.”
