Bachelor Nation fans will recall that Clare Crawley was Season 16’s The Bachelorette before she unexpectedly found love in a matter of weeks with contestant Dale Moss, and bowed out of the reality TV series. Taking her place was Tayshia Adams, who came from Colton Underwood’s season as The Bachelor.
Tayshia immediately connected with Zac Clark, with the addiction specialist later getting down on one knee to propose in the finale. The couple didn’t last long and split after about a year together in 2021. Unlike most breakups, the former couple never talked badly about one another.
Zac recently addressed their split on his podcast, but did he feel any different now that it’s been four years?

Tayshia Adams Gave Her Finale Rose To Zac Clark On The Bachelorette Season 16
It’s been about four years since Zac Clark and Tayshia Adams ended their engagement. The former couple did not put out a joint or separate statement about their decision to call it quits, but it was highly believed that the reality stars split because of their busy careers.
Although they both have spoken out about their relationship fallout, they haven’t exactly said anything negative about each other. In fact, Zac recently brought up his short-lived engagement to Tayshia during a February episode of his The Zac Clark Show podcast.
“It’s very well-documented. I went on The Bachelorette. I ended up engaged. I was in that relationship for about a year,” he began.
“When those relationships end, which mine did, and the moral of that story is really, you know, two good people don’t always make a good couple.”
It’s good to hear that still, after all these years, Zac had nothing but good things to say about his failed engagement to Tayshia. In fact, back in September 2023, while appearing as a guest on The Ben and Ashley I podcast, Zac shared that he “wouldn’t change anything” about his televised engagement.
“In the moment, it felt real, it felt right — it was all those things. I wouldn’t change anything. I don’t live in regret. It’s a very special moment in time and in my life, regardless of what happened.” He also shared similar comments like those in his podcast interview, “Two good people don’t always make a good relationship, that’s my experience there.”
Tayshia first appeared on The Bachelor Season 23 and placed third. She also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise where she connected with John Paul Jones. Additionally, she co-hosted two seasons of The Bachelorette.
Tayshia and Zac got engaged on the finale of Season 16 of The Bachelorette, which was broadcast in December 2020. In November 2021, a rep for Tayshia announced that the two had gone their separate ways. “Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark are no longer a couple,” the rep stated.

Zac And Kaitlyn Bristowe Have Maintained A Low Key Relationship
It’s been highly speculated that Zac is currently in a relationship with former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. The rumors began after the pair were spotted ringing in the new year in January 2024. That May, Kaitlyn supported Zac at a gala for his nonprofit and the following month, they were seen together at a wedding.
In November 2024, Kaitlyn was seen yet again supporting Zac. After he posted a photo of himself during the New York City Marathon, Kaitlyn commented, “You are one bright a** light.”
What made fans really believe that these two were an item was when Kaitlyn uploaded videos of herself at a Philadelphia Eagles NFL game in January 2025. Zac was also at the same game according to his Instagram. Fans believed that the woman screaming in the video was Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn addressed keeping her love life away from the public eye in a short TikTok video. In the clip, she answered the question, “Why do you keep your dating life so private?” The former reality TV star then mouths “boom,” seemingly suggesting that all of her past relationships didn’t work out when they were constantly being showcased on social media and the press.

Tayshia Adams Has Been Linked To Summer House Alum Luke Gulbranson
Tayshia And Luke Have Allegedly Been Dating Since April 2023
Meanwhile, Tayshia has also moved on from Zac with former Summer House star Luke Gulbranson. A photo shared by a friend of Tayshia’s showed The Bachelorette alum holding hands with Luke. In April 2024, they both attended the City Harvest Presents The 2024 Gala: Magic of Motown, where they were seated next to one another and posed for pictures.
However, fans shouldn’t expect Tayshia to divulge anything about her long-term romance with Luke any time soon. Speaking with E! News, she shared:
“I know people have seen me on dating shows, they want that aspect of my life. I think what I’ve learned from all of it is that, that aspect, I just want to keep sacred. I want it to evolve how it’s supposed to.”
However, she did tease that she is living her best life, whether that was with Luke or not. “I love that y’all want to know. All you have to know is that I’m having a great time.”
Fans won’t see any photos with Luke on her Instagram, either.
