Recently, Khloé Kardashian revealed that divorcing Lamar Odom was still “harder” than handling Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal. She opened up about it on her new podcast, Khloé in Wonderland.
This comes amid teasers of her reunion with Lamar on Season 6 of The Kardashians. It took the heat off Tristan, but how exactly has he been as a father to four children with three different women, including Khloé?

In 2018, Khloé gave birth to True Thompson, her first child with Tristan, days after finding out that he’d been cheating on her. In an episode of her podcast, the Good American founder shared why she wanted the unfaithful athlete in the delivery room at that time.
“I said, ‘We’re all…it’s gonna be hard for you guys, but let’s all act like this didn’t happen, because my daughter’s going to see this home footage one day,'” Khloé explained.
The couple initially stayed together for their daughter. But a year later, the basketball player cheated with Kylie Jenner’s then-best friend, Jordyn Woods, which led them to split up (not for long).

Tristan initially denied that he was Theo’s father. Maralee then filed a paternity lawsuit in late 2021, claiming that the former fathered her son while he was still with Khloé. In January 2022, Tristan confirmed his third child’s paternity on Instagram following a DNA test.
In December 2022, Tristan was obligated to pay $9,500 a month in child support to Maralee, who has sole custody of their son. But two years later, the father-of-four was ordered to pay $57,916 after missing five monthly payments. Tristan isn’t actively involved in Maralee and Theo’s lives.

Khloé admitted that she struggled to bond with her son during the first eight months. “I actually didn’t legally name Tatum, I think for maybe eight months,” she confessed. “I would try different names at first, but none of them I liked. “And then Tatum was, but we would always call him baby or I call him Papa all the time.”
In May 2024, Khloé talked about co-parenting with Tristan. “He did make mistakes,’ she told SHE MD podcast. “He’s the nicest guy and we get along so well now. We’re not meant to be. He was meant to be the father of these kids.”
