Love Is Blind Season 8 Episode 4 Recap: Totally Delulu

The final decisions are being made on Season 8 of Love Is Blind. As the reality TV cast members’ time in the pods comes to an end, they’re forced to choose the person for whom they have the strongest feelings.

Conversations are more vulnerable than ever as people declare their feelings for someone they’ve never seen. What happens when someone tells another they’re their first choice and the sentiment isn’t reciprocated?

Love Is Blind Trekking Through Tough Convos

The first date we see is between Sara and Ben. Sara brings up politics, noting that she grew up in a conservative household but that her own beliefs are different now. The fact that the George Floyd incident took place in Minneapolis affected her very deeply, and she needs a partner who’s on the same page about the treatment of others:

Teaching people fundamental values, I can’t teach that.

When Ben responds that he tries to educate himself on those matters as best he can, she seems pleased.

He lays it on thick, telling her he knows she’s gorgeous even though he doesn’t have a picture of what she looks like.

That said, Meg has a way of reading Mason’s mind, taking the words right out of his mouth. He explains how surreal their dynamic is:

I feel like our connection is — it doesn’t even [get] put into words. I mean, it’s crazy how similar we are. There’s no one who I’ve been able to have these conversations with.

Meg agrees, saying they share a lot in common but also have important differences too. She reminds him that if he decides his other connection is stronger, she hopes he’ll have to respect to let her know.
