Justin Baldoni‘s pockets have been hit hard as he continues to battle his It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively in the courts.
Baldoni sued Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and the New York Times, after Lively sued him for sexual harassment and retaliation.
Attorney Bryan Freedman said his “clients are devastated financially and emotionally” due to the litigation during a pretrial hearing on Monday, February 3.
Lively claimed he was inappropriate during filming, fat-shamed her, included intimate scenes that were not in the original scripts and that he launched a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni is suing for hundreds of millions of dollars and has released receipts, contradicting Lively’s version of events, including BTS videos, voice notes, texts and more.
“Not to sound like a 4-year-old fighting a 4-year-old with ‘they started it,’ but in these kinds of cases, once someone says something it becomes fact: There’s no way to fight against it,” the attorney added.
