There are a lot of new and exciting things happening in model Heidi Klum’s life. For one thing, she’s returning to hosting duties on the beloved reality TV show Project Runway Season 21, after an 8-year hiatus. In another joyous moment for Heidi—her oldest son, Henry Samuel—is following in her footsteps.
In January, Henry, who rarely makes appearances with his famous mom and well-known dad, singer Seal, walked a fashion runway for Paris Fashion Week, for the very first time. It was a proud moment for the mom of four who already has one other child making a mark in the fashion world.

Paris Fashion Week has come to a close with models like Kendall Jenner stealing the show when she walked for Schiaparelli’s Spring 2025 haute couture in a stunning hourglass dress, while her sister, Kylie Jenner, narrowly avoided Timothée Chalamet’s ex, Lily-Rose Depp while attending Chanel’s haute couture show.
While the week has seen a plethora of A-list celebrities wearing high fashion and sitting in front rows of major designers, one of the most touching moments of this year’s Paris Fashion Week was seeing a proud Heidi Klum gushing about her son, Henry Samuel’s runway debut.
A 19-year-old Henry walked for Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 Show on January 28, and not only was it his first-ever runway show, he opened for the designer, too.
Heidi took to Instagram to gush over her son’s first runway show.
“I still can’t get over this! You rocked it Henry – I‘m so proud of you!”
Henry is Heidi and her ex-husband, Seal’s first son. He was born on September 12, 2005, and has mostly shied away from the spotlight. More so, Heidi is a very protective parent. When the model made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan in 2017, she revealed that she did not allow her kids’ faces to be shown on social media and would cleverly hide them with emojis or have their backs turned from the camera.
“I want them to still be kids,” Heidi told the hosts back then about not wanting to expose her children to social media. However, looking at her Instagram, she’s since posted numerous photos and videos of her children’s faces.
Now, that Henry is an adult, he may be taking the fashion world by storm. In 2011, the America’s Got Talent judge hinted that her son had a fashion sense all his own.
“He lives in his own world. We went to dinner all dressed properly [and Henry wore dinosaur slippers]. You can barely walk in those things, but for him, it’s not weird at all,” she told Good Housekeeping.

Henry wasn’t the only one in the family to follow in Heidi’s footsteps. Henry’s older sister, Leni Klum, was the first sibling to showcase an interest in modeling. In fact, she has been modeling even before she was born!
In 2003, while walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Heidi was secretly four months pregnant. To celebrate Leni’s 17th birthday, Heidi shared the throwback video of her walking the catwalk in nothing but a bra and underwear, revealing that she was pregnant at that time.

If I look close enough then I can see you bumping right along at 4 months @LeniKlum.

In an interview with People, Leni expressed that her mother didn’t allow her to get into modeling until she was older. She shared a story about being approached to model for Brandi Melville when she was 12-years-old, but Heidi forbade it. “I was really sad about it, but in the end she was right. And I feel like that’s what sparked me to want to model more.”
In 2020, Leni’s big modeling break came when she posed with her mom on the cover of Vogue Germany.
“So excited for my first cover!! I had so much fun on set with @voguegermany couldn’t dream of a better start!! Thank you for being by my side @heidiklum ❤” Her caption read. Leni has since posed for Dior, Swarovski, and David Yurman.
Leni also gave her younger brother, Henry, some solid advice before he walked his first runway in Paris. In an interview with Vogue Germany, Henry admitted:
“Leni advised me to look straight ahead and walk as if I were balancing a book on my head.” As for what his famous mom told him: “My mother told me to do my best and not forget to have fun doing it.”

Henry and Leni also have two younger siblings. A year after Henry was born, Heidi and Seal welcomed their son, Johan Samuel, in 2006. Three years later, the former couple welcomed their daughter, Lou Samuel.

In a June 2021 Instagram post, Heidi poked fun at how tall both her sons had gotten compared to her. “How did i get so short?” The model captioned her image of the three of them with their backs to the camera. In an October 2024 interview with People, Heidi shared that Johan, who graduated high school in June 2024, was touring colleges that specialized in fashion design and the arts.
“Today, we actually toured Parsons [School of Design] for my second son, Johan. Johan is very much into the arts and making clothes. So today we toured Parsons,” she told the outlet.
As for her youngest daughter, Lou, Heidi showcased her impressive dancing skills in an Instagram video posted in August 2021. “Keep dancing 🥳❤️😛 @migzmigzmigz and Lou 😻” The model captioned her post.
