As every reality show fan should already know, Deal or No Deal Island has become one of Peacock’s best shows. While Joe Manganiello plays a role in that as the show’s host, after he previously auditioned for Survivor, the show’s cast is its biggest strength. After he became Big Brother’s most iconic player, even though he snuck off that show to get drunk, Dr. Will Kirby joined Deal or No Deal‘s cast. Similarly, the Survivor Hall of Famer Parvati Shallow joined DONDI on top of the always daring Dr. Will.
After Parvati previously revealed how Survivor works, Maria-Grace “MG Cook revealed how Deal or No Deal Island’s cast perceived Parvati. During the same exclusive TheThings interview, MG also explained how DONDI’s cast felt about Parvati’s ally Dickson Wong.
Maria-Grace “MG” Cook Explained How Parvati Shallow Was Perceived By Deal Or No Deal Island’s Cast
For many years now, Parvati Shallow has been widely recognized as one of the best reality show competitors ever. Since Parvati has a reputation that precedes her, it can be hard for observers to truly understand how she comes across to people who don’t know what she has accomplished.
When the team before Deal or No Deal Island convinced Parvati to compete on that show, they gave her longtime fans a gift. After all, that show allowed fans to see how people who didn’t know about the legend of Parvati would react to her now.
Fortunately, one of Deal or No Deal Island Season 2’s most interesting first-time reality stars spoke about the Survivor legend. Maria-Grace “MG” Cook exclusively told TheThings about how Parvati was perceived during Deal or No Deal Island Season 2.

During that interview, MG spoke about how she perceived Parvati when they played Deal or No Deal Island together.
I just kinda saw her as, I mean, she’s cool. She’s really pretty. She has David wrapped around her finger, so perfect.
Longtime Survivor fans are likely to love MG’s description of Parvati. After all before Parvati was recognized as a Survivor Hall of Famer, she earned fans’ respect because of how she was able to influence other players with her looks and charisma.

In response to MG’s description of the presence that Parvati has, TheThings’ journalist suggested that Parvati could be a cult leader if she wanted to.
While speaking exclusively to TheThings, Maria-Grace “MG” Cook revealed the status of her relationship with Storm Wilson after the game. “He’s amazing. I have no bad things to say about him. Honestly, he’s great. He’s a really great friend to me. He visited me in LA, and we got to have a lot of real world talks. He wanted me to visit in Austin, but we had some conversations since then. And we, on both sides, have decided just to be friends.”
Without missing a beat, MG agreed and then reflected on how Parvati could betray someone and then win them back very quickly.
“She’s very good at that. She’s very good at being, like, ‘Oh, did I hurt your feelings? It’s okay. Let’s do yoga and talk about it.’ Like, she’s very good at that. And that’s why I mean, she’s a legend. That’s why.”
During MG’s comments about Parvati, she didn’t state that the other players also took note of the Survivor legend’s charisma.
When people go on a reality show like Deal or No Deal Island, it can have a huge effect on them emotionally. With that in mind, it is a great thing to know that Maria-Grace “MG” Cook exclusively told TheThings that NBC provided mental healthcare to the players after they were eliminated. “You know, they have a therapist come in and talk to you and make sure you’re all good.”
However, MG’s comments made it very clear that Parvati still has those leadership qualities that made her a Survivor Hall of Famer. With that in mind, it seems very reasonable to assume the other Deal or No Deal Island players saw Parvati in the same way that MG did.

MG then went on to explain what Dickson did to make his castmates’ distrust him so much to TheThings.
“He went around to every single person day one, didn’t even know our names, and said, ‘We’re final two, right? We’re final two, we’re final two.’ Well then, by the end of that day, we all started talking to each other.”
From there, MG stated that Dickson apologized to the cast, but that didn’t change her opinion of him in the game. “He did like a public apology, and he was like, at Temple, ‘I’m sorry I’ve lied to everyone here.’ We were all like, ‘Why would you say that?’ So you think he’s a liar. So I didn’t really care about him and my alliance. He just was David’s buddy. He wasn’t my brother.”
