Instead of simply naming someone, Dr. Will began telling Joe that he is the kind of leader who likes to put himself in peril. Dr. Will then told Joe that he had chosen to play Deal or No Deal Island himself.
“Joe, if I was a soldier, I would become a general. If I was a priest, I would have become the pope. But I’m a reality contestant and that’s why I became doctor Will. And tonight, the banker’s gonna play the baddest mother on this island, me. Call the banker and tell her I like risks too.”

What happened after Dr. Will tried to choose himself made the deleted scene truly epic. In response to Dr. Will’s decision, Joe told him that he wasn’t allowed to choose himself to play Deal or No Deal. Without missing a beat, Dr. Will had a hilarious reaction to the situation.
This is awkward because I had not prepared for that.
Of course, knowing Dr. Will, he probably knew that he wouldn’t be able to name himself. Whether he did or didn’t know, the important thing is that Dr. Will saying he wasn’t prepared to be rejected was the funniest thing he could have said at that moment.
The fact that Deal or No Deal Island’s editors decided to delete that scene shows that Dr. Will is such a captivating reality show presence. After all, they thought there was so much more fantastic footage of Dr. Will that they didn’t need to include the hilarious deleted scene.
