The Real Housewives of New York City became the first-ever Real Housewives franchise to be completely rebooted. Bravo decided to let go of the old and bring in the new, introducing fans to a new generation of New Yorkers.
Season 14 introduced fans to a group of six women of different backgrounds, nationalities, and race, working and living in the Big Apple—Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield. The following season, RHONY added new cast mate Racquel Chevremont and “friend” of the Housewives, fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff.

7 What Does Jenna Lyons Do?

Jenna Lyons began working with fashion brand J. Crew when she graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City in the early 90s. She was 21 years old at the time and worked her way up in the company, first working as an assistant designer for men’s wear and later, serving as the president and executive creative director before leaving the fashion brand in 2017.

Since leaving J.Crew, Jenna co-founded LoveSeen, a brand of false eyelashes. She also works as the editor-in-chief at large at Coveteur magazine. Speaking to the mag for an interview, Jenna shared that she decided to start her false eyelash business to give women a more natural eyelash that both looked and felt comfortable on the eyes.

Despite calling herself a “trophy wife in training,” Brynn is a career-driven woman. According to her LinkedIn, Brynn works as a brand marketing and communications consultant, which she has been doing for over 2 years. However, when she’s not working, Brynn takes to Instagram to showcase all the fun-filled trips she takes around the world and her major fashion moments.
In 2019, the RHONY cast member shared on Instagram that she was also yoga certified. Her LinkedIn also states that she is an advisory board member for SACRED Yoga.

5 What Does Ubah Hassan Do?

Model Ubah Hassan was discovered by a photographer when she was 17 years old and living in Canada. She has worked as a model for the likes of major fashion designers, like Oscar de la Renta, Rachel Roy, Gucci, and Macy’s and posed for Vogue Italia, twice. Ubah continues to model today.
The reality TV star is also the CEO and founder of a hot sauce line called Ubah Hot. Ubah Hot was born when she found herself unable to find work as a model because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her hot sauce was featured on Oprah’s “Favorite Things” list in 2021.
“Although I’ve found myself in a modeling career where I’ve had to watch what I eat to stay healthy and radiant, I wanted to find a way to honor my palate and passion for food without compromising the taste,” her website states.

Erin Lichy is a real estate agent and owns a home design firm called Homegirl. According to Bravo, Erin became “a full-time agent at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, one of the nation’s largest independent residential real estate brokerages.” However, she has since joined Million Dollar Listing star Fredrik Eklund’s, Eklund Gomes Team.
Erin is married to Abraham Lichy, a lawyer and founder of his own law firm, Lichy Law. Together, the couple have three children and one on the way.
Erin is a superb real estate agent, according to Fredrik. He told Bravo, “Erin is a CLOSER, and I don’t say that lightly. I think it’s something about her voice, it has gravity, and people listen to her when she gives advice.”

3 What Does Jessel Taank Do?

Jessel Taank works in public relations and founded the boutique agency The Know, in 2022, which “specializes in consulting newly formed brands,” per her LinkedIn. Prior to The Know, the reality star co-founded The Right Now, another public relations company, in 2020.
Jessel is also the founder of Oushq, which according to its website: “Oushq is a retail platform that delivers highly curated ready-to-wear and accessories to the fashion curious, sharing the allure of Indian fashion with a global community.”

Sai de Silva works as a lifestyle content creator and influencer. Her Instagram is filled with photos of herself wearing high-end fashion looks and attending fashion week.
In a video clip, Sai took fans along to watch her process to create the perfect content for her social media. The reality star works with a photographer and an assistant who chose locations in New York City while also keeping Sai’s brand in mind. After the photoshoot is complete, the Housewife shared that her photographer would edit the photos while she creates the perfect caption.
“It’s super chaotic. It’s always messy. It’s never really fabulous, but I get paid to make it look super easy,” she states.
1 What Does Racquel Chevremont Do?

Racquel Chevremont is a RHONY newbie, but her job is impressive. The reality star has worked as an art curator and art collector for more than 20 years. She’s organized exhibitions, worked with popular artists, and curated artwork for shows like Empire, Severance, And Just Like That, and Law & Order: Organized Crime. “For the last 3 years she has curated the art awards program for the Tribeca Film Festival,” per GLAAD.
Racquel is the co-founder of The Josie Club, “a Black Queer Femme and Woman supported and operated social impact group.”
Racquel also worked as a model. According to her Bravo bio, she appeared in “ad campaigns for Benetton, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Fila, L’Oréal, Nivea and International Elle magazine covers.”
