Lego is expanding its offerings for younger audiences with the announcement of six new themed sets inspired by the beloved children’s TV series Bluey. This collaboration marks another significant step in Bluey’s global expansion, fueled by its overwhelming popularity on platforms like Disney+ and CBeebies, along with its successful merchandising endeavors.
What the New Lego Sets Include
The Bluey-themed Lego sets will feature characters from the show, including the blue heeler pup Bluey, her younger sibling Bingo, and their parents Bandit and Chilli. Designed for preschool-aged children, these sets will be part of Lego’s 4+ and Duplo collections, making them accessible and engaging for younger builders.
Michaela Edgerley Stovicek, Lego Group’s head of preschool products, described the partnership as a perfect fit:
“Both brands champion imaginative play, making this collaboration a match made in heaven.”
Julie Kekwick, head of licensing hardlines at BBC Studios, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the new sets offer exciting new ways for children to interact with Bluey’s stories and characters.

Bluey’s Growing Global Appeal
The collaboration comes as Bluey continues its meteoric rise since its debut in 2018 on Australia’s ABC network. After being licensed by BBC Studios, the show quickly gained traction on Disney+ and CBeebies, becoming a worldwide hit. In 2024, Bluey was the most-watched show on Disney+ globally, according to Variety.
Its dominance on traditional networks is equally impressive, frequently topping ratings charts on CBeebies and ABC. The show’s mix of humor, relatable parenting themes, and heartwarming storytelling has made it a favorite among children and adults alike.
The Bluey brand has also seen success beyond television. Millions of Bluey-branded books and toys are sold annually, and this Lego collaboration builds on that momentum. It follows similar successful partnerships, such as Lego’s collaboration with Peppa Pig, another global preschool sensation.

A Feature Film in the Works
In addition to the Lego sets, Bluey creator Joe Brumm is working on a feature film set for global release in 2027. While fans speculated about the show’s future, Brumm clarified that the TV series isn’t ending, though he plans to take a short break to maintain its storytelling quality.
Brumm has consistently emphasized that Bluey is a labor of love, inspired by his own experiences as a parent. His commitment to creating stories that resonate with both children and adults has been a cornerstone of the show’s success.
When and Where to Find the New Lego Sets
The Bluey Lego sets will hit stores later in 2025. They will be available at Lego stores and other major retailers, catering to the growing demand from preschoolers and their families.
With its charm, humor, and universal appeal, Bluey continues to capture hearts worldwide, and its collaboration with Lego offers another way for fans to bring the beloved characters and stories to life. Whether through building blocks or screen time, Bluey shows no signs of slowing down in its global domination.
