Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ scandal led to an online witch hunt about his suspicious Hollywood ties—from celebrity deaths linked to him to his former music protégés. It has reportedly left A-listers afraid, especially with Jay-Z listed as Diddy’s co-defendant in a lawsuit accusing them of assaulting a 13-year-old.
One of the only former collaborators of the music mogul to address the allegations was John Legend. The former The Voice coach called the accusations “shameful,” nearly 30 years after his manager, Ty Stiklorius, had a “terrifying” experience at Diddy’s NYE party.
But despite John siding with the rapper’s accusers, fans still find his wife, Chrissy Teigen, suspicious following her resurfaced revelation about them doing it in public.

In October 2024, Ty recalled attending Diddy’s NYE party in the late 1990s and being “directed into a room by a man.” Years later, she found out that her “terrifying” experience was actually a recurring pattern in those circles.

Diddy’s Ego Drove Him To Collab With Vince McMahon’s WWE 15 Years Before Their Scandals
Both Diddy and Vince McMahon have been accused of using their power and status to sexually exploit their alleged victims.
“I was being shown to the disco room when I was directed into a bedroom by a man who seemed to be an associate of the party’s host, Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs,” she shared.
To this day, I can’t remember how I managed to talk my way out of that terrifying situation. Perhaps my nervous babbling — ‘My brother’s on this boat, and he’s probably looking for me!’ — convinced him to unlock the bedroom door and let me go.
At that time, Ty thought it was “just one guy behaving badly at a drunken party.” But years into working in the industry, she realized it “actively fostered sexual misconduct and exploited the lives and bodies of those hoping to make it in the business.”
In September 2024, Diddy was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, transportation for purposes of prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy.
She then credited John for helping her “find success” away from that world. “It turns out that many artists, including John, want to be a part of a different model of business and culture,” Ty said of the safe working environment John has facilitated.

Cassie’s lawsuit, which Diddy settled the next day in November 2023, inspired many other women to come forward. “Absolutely it’s something that needs to be brought to light when it happens,” John continued, saying that he “really just [wants] accountability and hopefully some healing for all of his victims.”
My default stance is to believe women when they make these accusations and to make sure that we do whatever we can to support women.
John previously collaborated with Diddy on the star-studded 2023 album, The Love Album: Off the Grid. The former was featured on the latter’s track, “Kim Porter” (Diddy’s late wife), alongside Babyface.
Many Hollywood personalities have avoided commenting on Diddy’s case. But people have been determined to get a hand on his “freak-off” party list. Khloé Kardashian, whose family is close to John’s, once talked about witnessing nudity at one of Diddy’s “dangerous” parties.

Chrissy Teigen Said She And John Legend Got Intimate In Public At Barack Obama’s Event
Amid Diddy’s scandal, Chrissy’s public sex revelation resurfaced, raising suspicions about her involvement in the controversy. Initially reluctant to answer the raunchy question, John said, “It was at a campaign event that we happened to be at.” His wife added that “it was in the bathroom” at a 2008 campaign for then-U.S. Senator, Barack Obama.
The interview ended with Chrissy saying, “Sorry. I’m in trouble now.”
In 2020, Chrissy blocked over 1 million accounts on X (formerly Twitter) linking her to Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophilia ring. “I have never even met the man or been to the island. Or on the plane,” she wrote on the platform at that time, adding that she was “worried” about her family.

“I actually deleted 60,000 tweets because I cannot (expletive) STAND you idiots anymore and I’m worried for my family,” she said in a different tweet, also addressing “scary harassment” over her past tweets about Toddlers & Tiaras stars. Chrissy had also gained a reputation for being a bully back then.
“Finding me talking about toddlers and tiaras in 2013 and thinking you’re some sort of (expletive) operative,” she continued. Chrissy and John fought against the false accusations about the former’s involvement in the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory, a fake story linking Bill and Hillary Clinton to pedophilic activities.
