As Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards’ feud heats up in Season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Garcelle Beauvais’ feud with the former has also begun to resurface. Dorit and Garcelle ended Season 13 on bad terms.
Since then, the Flight star—who briefly dated Will Smith—has been vocal about disliking the Beverly Beach owner. Recently, Dorit also confronted Garcelle for siding with Kyle because she’s not the actress’ “favorite person.”
But during a recent interview, Garcelle seemed optimistic about resolving her issues with Dorit. Unfortunately, their history might be a little difficult to forget. Here’s why the reality TV stars haven’t gotten over their feud.
Garcelle Called Dorit A “Karen” After Dorit Said Garcelle Was “Attacking” Her
In Season 13, Garcelle and Dorit’s feud exploded as they had a heated exchange about a race-related matter. It started when the latter accused the former of “attacking” her after calling out the RICH Sutton Stracke for her behavior at the Magic Mike Show during a girls’ trip to Las Vegas.

Garcelle took offense at Dorit’s words, saying: “So, the other night, the word attack just hit me in the wrong place. There are certain words, when you point them at me, it has a complete different impact. You have to know who you’re dealing with.”
“There are three words you don’t say to Black women,” she added. “You don’t say ‘aggressive,’ you don’t say ‘attack,’ and you don’t say ‘angry.’ Because that’s labeling us.”
The two then talked about it. Dorit apologized but Garcelle was very hurt. “I didn’t take notice because that’s exactly what the other night was, it was innocent,” the former said. “Listen, if it’s offended you in anyway… I’m very sorry.”
The latter then called Dorit an “unconscious Karen.” Garcelle explained: “There’s a pattern with you that I don’t know whether you’re aware or not, but I’m just gonna be completely blunt, it feels like an unconscious Karen behavior with you.”
She went on to cite some alleged “Karen behavior” on Dorit’s part, to which the latter responded, “What does it feel like, that I’m racist?” Garcelle then said that she’s “not labeling” her co-star.
The confrontation felt unresolved. The swimsuit designer said it was a “learning lesson” during a confessional, even though Garcelle said she wasn’t there to educate Dorit.

Garcelle Defended Kyle During Her Fight With Dorit In Season 14 Of RHOBH
During Dorit and Kyle’s dinner argument in Season 14, Garcelle called out the former for not properly apologizing to the mother-of-four. “You can’t just say you’re sorry,” she accused, to which Dorit angrily responded, “I’m not surprised that you agree with that. Let’s be honest okay.”
I’m not your favorite person. You’re very clear about that.
Garcelle shut down the little spat by saying, “Okay great then we’re on the same page.” Dorit agreed, but there was still a lot to unpack between these two. And fans have chosen to side with the latter… Here’s a list of Garcelle and Dorit’s biggest conflicts:

“We weren’t in a good place after we finished the reunion, so it would have felt very hypocritical,” Garcelle explained. “I felt for her, and I said so in when I was interviewed on red carpets.” She then revealed that she and Dorit eventually “got to a better place” after “a few little bumps.”
“It’s really hard to tell you [as] the season is new,” Garcelle added. “I don’t know what’s being said, whether online [or] offline, so hopefully one day we can resolve it and be friends.”
Garcelle may be optimistic about her relationship with Dorit following her successful efforts to be closer to Kyle. “We definitely text each other and check in on each other, but we got to a better place, which is what I wanted this season,” Beauvais said of her friendship with Kyle.
“I felt like before, our relationship was only surface level. I think this season the audience will see that we dove a little deeper,” she continued. We’ll see how it goes as Season 14 goes on.
