A short clip of former Real Housewives Of New York City personality Luann de Lesseps’ cabaret tour is circulating, and in it, the Countess changes the lyrics of the classic Elmo & Patsy Christmas song, “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer” to throw random shade at Bethenny Frankel.
Luann’s cabaret tour appears to be active at the moment, and on Monday (December 2), the reality TV star shared an Instagram Reel promoting near-future dates to fans and their “girls, gays, and theys”:
Before we even get to Luann’s swipe at Bethenny in the form of a Christmas carol, both RHONY alums have been in the news lately for different reasons.
Luann recently told the site TooFab about her alleged makeout session with none other than actor Hugh Grant.
In turn, Hugh tweeted about having spent time with someone from RHONY, and, in a gentlemanly fashion, admitted he had no recollection of “doing shots,” nor of locking lips with Luann:
“Steady on. I do remember meeting a charming RHNY in a restaurant, but I’d like to stress it was about 15 years ago.
“I don’t recall shots or kissing but her memory might be better than mine.”
Then, there’s Bethenny, and her recent mention of Luann.
Bethenny posted and later deleted a TikTok video slamming the RHONY reboot — and in that highly relevant, since-deleted clip (which you can watch here), she vocally advocated for Luann’s return to the franchise, saying:
“Saturday morning, firing a random shot, I have seen enough videos of people saying Real Housewives is unwatchable, it is a disaster …
“So this is gonna be a hot take, and surprising, but justice for
[original RHONY cast members] Sonja [Morgan], Dorinda [Medley],
Luann [de Lesseps]
and Ramona [Singer], because they were ride or die.”
Bethenny included Luann on her list of what she said were the discarded original cast members, and called for “justice” for the Countess, alongside Sonja, Dorinda, and Ramona.
Incidentally, per RealityTea, the roots of Luann and Bethenny’s apparent beef lay in a tiff that occurred at a Christmas party.

On Tuesday, the Bravo-centric TikTok account @yourmomsarewatching shared a five-second-long clip of Luann performing her modified version of the Christmas song:
In the extremely short clip, Luann sings: “Bethenny got run over by a reindeer … good!”
That clip did not include a date, and no contextual information accompanied it — it most likely resulted from a recent stop on Luann’s cabaret tour, but the “when” and “where” are not known.
The clip of Luann’s performance was shared on Reddit’s r/BravoRealHousewives, where fans also observed that the Countess’ voice was a bit strained and raspy:
My mother just heard this and said, ‘was that a seal’? 🦭
One user remarked: “I don’t even dislike Bethenny, but this made me laugh!”
Ultimately, discussion about Luann’s mention of Bethenny kind of came back around to Bethenny’s TikTok rant about how the RHONY OGs were inherently fun to watch, as one commenter echoed her: “Luann, Bethenny, Dorinda & Kelly all have more going on in their lives than any of the women on [RHONY] now… the producers really dropped the apple.”
