Moana 2 starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will hit cinema screens on November 29 worldwide. Ahead of its release, a special premiere was held in Kapolei, Hawaii, on November 21. Recently, The Rock shared a wholesome video on social media from the premiere showing himself dancing with his mother. In a heartwarming note on X, the Hollywood megastar detailed the emotional moment.
The Rock revealed that when one of his mother’s favorite Samoan songs played, she immediately began dancing. Furthermore, she gestured for her son to come join her, which he obliged. The Great One emphasized the significance of the moment, claiming that the upcoming Moana 2 movie represents the Polynesian culture and people. At last, he expressed his gratitude to his ancestors and elders.
The former WWE Champion doesn’t shy away from showing respect for his culture and background. In fact, he doesn’t hesitate to explain how much his family means to him. Previously, The Rock has disclosed personal details about his family members, including his relationship with his father, the late Rocky Johnson.

In addition to Moana 2, Red One starring The Rock recently hit theater screens as well. However, the Christmas-themed movie has been remarked as both a critical and commercial failure. It didn’t help when a clip of The People’s Champion comparing Red One to Academy Award winner Oppenheimer went viral online.
Considering his underperforming box office run since Black Adam, The Rock will be hoping that Moana 2 breaks the shackles for him. Now that he is seemingly close to wrapping up his Hollywood commitments, fans are wondering what is next for The Brahma Bull.
The Rock could be preparing for a return to WWE
With close to a month away from the much-anticipated debut of WWE Raw on Netflix, the company will be looking to bring in huge names for the premiere. Without a doubt, The Rock is the biggest star that would generate the most buzz for the first show.
At the moment, there is no clear sign as to when The Final Boss will be returning. A few days back, Netflix and WWE released promotional teasers for the red brand’s upcoming move. Among the names promoted was none other than The Rock himself. Hence, he will most likely be an integral part of the debut episode.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the WWE legend won’t show up before that. With The Bloodline civil war heating up, The Rock can finally make his presence known in the storyline. Fans are eagerly awaiting to find out which side the Black Adam star lies on.
